# 1. The prototype of nine firms i.e. M/s APAR, M/s KEC, M/s Shashi Cables, M/s JK Cables, M/s Santoshi Hyvolt , M/s
Ajanma Industries, M/s BMI Cables, M/s GSJ Alloys and M/s Victor Cables has been completed and approved and field
trial to be conducted.
2. RDSO has nominated WR, WCR, and ER for the field trial of Cu-Ag contact wire vide letter no RDSO-
TI0LKO(OHE)/24/2020 dated 10.01.2023.
• West Central Railways: WCR has issued PO to M/s JK cable,M/s Santoshi Hyvol & M/s Ajanma Industries, the material
received on 11.12.2023. The same has been installed on 28.01.2024 in Kota division.
• Eastern Railways: PO has been placed by ER on dated 19.01.2024 to M/s APAR & M/s Ajanma Industries. The material
has not received yet.
• Western Railway: PO has been issued on dated 24.10.2023 to M/s JK cables, M/s KMG Pvt. Ltd. & M/s
Ajanma Industries. Material from JK cable has been received on dated 17.02.2024. The material from other
two firms has not received yet.
3. Vide letter no. RDSO-TI0LKO (OHE)/24/2020 dated 01.01.2024, RDSO has also nominated NWR for the usage of 107
mm² Silver Bearing Grooved Copper Contact Wire on a trial basis in the main line of the first phase of Dedicated Test
Track Project only.
## CCA/STR Verification of M/s APAR for the current carrying flexible dropper has been completed successfully and
approved on 29.09.2023. The firm has offered prototype and partial testing completed; the fatigue test of 10 sqmm
current carrying flexible dropper start from 16.01.2024 and completed on 26.02.2024, Fatigue test of 25 sqmm current
carrying flexible dropper is in progress.

Mumbai have been included in select panel for development of item and firms had been advised
to offer prototype testing.
Out of 13 firms, Proto type test of 9 firms namely M/s KEC, M/s APAR, M/s GSJ Alloys, M/s Shashi
Cables, M/s Victor Cables, M/s Santoshi Hyvolt, M/s J K Cable, M/s Ajanma Industries & M/s BMI
Cables has been carried out sucessfully.
• Eastern Railway, & West Central Railway has been nominated for field trial vide RDSO letter
dated 10.01.2023. P.O has been placed by WR on 24.10.2023.
• West Central Railways: WCR has issued PO to M/s JK cable,M/s Santoshi Hyvol & M/s Ajanma
Industries, the material received on 11.12.2023. The same has been installed on 28.01.2024 in
kota division.
• Eastern Railways: PO has been placed by ER on dated 19.01.2024 to M/s APAR & M/s Ajanma
Industries. The material has not received yet.
• Western Railway: PO has been issued on dated 24.10.2023 to M/s JK cables, M/s KMG Pvt Ltd &
M/s Ajanma Industries. Material from JK cable received on dated 17.02.2024. The material from
other two firm not received yet.
• M/s KMG Wires has submitted the response to EOI on 12.12.2023. The same has been short
listed in select panel. Further, vide letter dated 11.01.2024 firm has been advised to submit ITR,
QAP & compliance of STR. Firm has submitted compliance vide firm’s letter dated 13.01.2023,
shortcoming/deficiencies has been advised vide this office letter dated 29.01.2024. Firm has
submitted reply on 05.02.204. CCA has been conducted on 12 & 13.03.2024 the same has been
approved. The proto type test has been carried out from 21.03.2024 to 23.03.2024, it is under
approval.
• Vide letter no. RDSO-TI0LKO (OHE)/24/2020 dated 01.01.2024; RDSO has also nominated NWR
for usage of 107 mm² Silver Bearing Grooved Copper Contact Wire on trial basis in main line of
first phase of Dedicated Test Track Project only..
