Introduction

Welcome to my practice teaching internship portfolio, a


reflection of my journey towards becoming an educator dedicated to
shaping young minds and fostering a lifelong love for learning. This
portfolio serves as a comprehensive account of the experiences,
lessons, and growth that have significantly influenced my
understanding of teaching and learning.

As you delve into the pages of this portfolio, you will


discover the passion, dedication, and commitment that drive me to
create a positive and impactful learning environment for my
students. Each entry, reflection, and piece of evidence presented
here is a testament to my growth, resilience, and unwavering belief
in the transformative power of education. From lesson plans and
classroom management strategies to reflections on teaching

documented with the intention of showcasing my development as a
teacher. Throughout my internship, I have had the privilege of
working with diverse groups of students, each with their own unique
strengths and challenges. These experiences have enriched my

moments of my internship.

Ma'am Perlasil A. Escobar and Ma'am Angelika Aimee E. Avila, for their

In my recent teaching experiences at Gomez Elementary School Bldg.


2, a focus on content knowledge and pedagogy has been instrumental in
shaping my journey as a student teacher. This area encompasses a deep
understanding of the subject matter, the application of effective teaching
strategies, and fostering student engagement in the learning process.
I have dedicated myself to expanding my knowledge in various
elementary subjects and implementing diverse teaching methods to
effectively communicate complex concepts. Interacting with students across
different grade levels during lessons, overseeing assessments, and adapting
to various learning formats have challenged me to be adaptable and creative
in my teaching approach.
These experiences have underscored the significance of adaptability,
creativity, and student-centered practices in creating a conducive learning
environment. By building relationships, fostering dialogue, and showing
empathy, my goal is to motivate and empower students in their educational
pursuits.
Additionally, my interactions with colleagues and mentors at Gomez

Pagkatapos ng aralin, ang mga mag-aaral ay inaasahang:

a. Natutukoy ang iba’t ibang uri ng transportasyon na maaaring


gamitin mula sa tahanan patungong paaralan ayon sa lugar,
lokasyon, at distansya.
b. Naisasakilos ang pagkilala sa iba’t ibang uri ng transportasyon
na maaaring gamitin ayon sa lugar, lokasyon, at distansya mula
sa kanilang tahanan patungo sa paaralan.
c. Napapahalagahan ang kahalagahanpaggamit ng

3. Paggaya ng Tunog ng Sasakyan: Bubunot ng tatlong larawan
ng sasakyan mula sa kahon, gayahin ang tunog nito at ipahula
sa kabilang grupo

6. Pagtataya (Evaluation)
Part of 4A’s Lesson Plan highlighting the application of knowledge of

1. Content Standards: The three objectives in the lesson plan cover various
content standards:

 Cognitive: Identifying different types of transportation from home to


school based on location and distance.
 Psychomotor: Acting out the recognition of various transportation
modes based on location and distance.
 Affective: Valuing the importance of using appropriate transportation
based on location and distance from home to school.

2. Alignment with DepEd Learning Resources: The topic, materials, and


references are derived from DepEd learning resources, ensuring they align
with the intended learning outcomes. This alignment guarantees that the
lesson adheres to educational standards and provides relevant and practical
content for the students.

3. Engagement with Prior Knowledge: Learning Activities (Paglalahad):

 Activity (Paglalahad): The lesson starts with a story, “Johayri, Sakay


ka na!” by Nikko P. Antoy, which engages students with familiar
content and sets the stage for the lesson.
 Analysis (Pagtalakay): Students watch a video presentation and
answer questions about how different characters use various modes
of transportation. This activity helps students process and classify
information, deepening their understanding of transportation modes
and their relevance.

4. Reinforcement and Deepening Understanding: Abstraction


(Paglalahat):

 The teacher reinforces students' existing knowledge while guiding


them toward a deeper understanding by discussing the different types
of transportation and their importance.
 Questions like "What are the different types of transportation used to
get to school?" and "What are location and distance?" help students
relate content to real-world scenarios, fostering a sense of ownership
and appreciation for the subject matter.

5. Practical Application: Application (Aplikasyon):

 Individual and Group Activities: Students engage in activities like


the "Car Racing Game," where they answer questions related to
transportation. This activity encourages students to apply what they
have learned in a practical context.
 Additional Group Activities: Students identify transportation modes,
draw transportation suitable for their route to school, and mimic
vehicle sounds. These activities promote practical application and
reinforce the lesson content by encouraging students to think about
how they can use their newfound knowledge in real-life situations.

6. Evaluation (Pagtataya):

 The teacher assesses students' understanding through activities and


games, ensuring they have effectively absorbed the lesson content.
This evaluation phase is crucial for reinforcing the knowledge gained
and providing feedback for further improvement.

Interacting with students, observing classroom dynamics, and
