1. Sports Day is coming. It is on the third of May. Henry feels very excited.
Henry likes PE lesson because he is good at playing basketball and football.
He wants to win some medals on the Sports Day.
On the third of May, the weather is very bad. It is raining in the morning.
Henry feels disappointed as the Sports Day has cancelled.
The next day, when he goes to school. He finds out that the Sport Day has
rescheduled to next month. Everyone in the class say hooray for this good news.

2. Alan goes to the tuck shop to buy a hotdog during recess. Cashier says
“sixteen dollars please.” However, Alan only has ten dollars in his pocket.
Alan feels very hungry and upset. He sits on the bench in the playground.
Karen sees Alan in the playground. She opens her lunch box, there is a lot
of tomatoes and sausages. She asks Alan if he wants some.
At last, Karen shares her lunch box with Alan. Alan feels very happy now.

3. Jerry is very hungry now, he wants to go to fast food restaurant for lunch.
He orders an apple pie and a packet of French fries. The cashier says
“fourteen dollars please.”
Jerry cannot find his wallet. He forgets to bring when he goes out. He
feels very sacred.
Suddenly, he sees his best friend Peter coming over. He borrows twenty
dollars from Peter and pays to cashier. Finally, Jerry and Peter have lunch to-
gether at fast food restaurant together.

4. William is in the fast food restaurant. He has ordered a can of cola, a

hamburger and an apple pie.
“Thirty dollars please.” the cashier says. William opens his wallet and he has
only twenty dollars.
William feels embarrassed. He tells cashier “I don’t have enough money, can
I have an apple pie and a can of cola only?”
Cashier says “Sure!”
