Dear___________,

With reference to your application and subsequent discussions, we hereby hire your services on
contract for a period of one year only in the capacity of “_______________”. You have been hired on
the following terms and conditions with effect from your date of joining at our H.O – 0900 Lahore.

1. Your services are solely hired for specifically assigned job on the special terms & conditions.
Hence you are not entitled to the fringe benefits admissible to company’s regular employees.

2. You will be paid a monthly consolidated remuneration for the said professional / technical services
@ Rs. ___________/- and inclusive of all other statutory allowances announced by Federal and
Provincial Governments to date and you will not be entitled to any additional allowance for food,
conveyance or alike.

3. You will be on a probation period of three months, which may be extended to at the sole discretion
of the Management.

4. You may be required to work on all the working days as per schedule of the project/site/office.
However you will be entitled to avail “Days Off” against Sundays and Gazette Holidays.

5. In case of personal sickness you will be entitled to Sick Leave at the rate of one day against each
completed month. Any additional leave, absence will be on your own account and recoveries will
be made proportionately from your remuneration.

6. After your termination or resignation from the employment, for a period of twelve 12 months (to
be known as the “no compete period”) you shall not directly or indirectly solicit business from
customers or clients of the Company. You shall not use any of the company’s proprietary
information to your advantage or to solicit business for monetary purpose. Moreover, you shall not
directly or indirectly solicit any other employee of the Company for employment elsewhere i.e
employment with any person or entity other than Employer.

7. You will perform your job as assigned by your Department Head observing all disciplinary
restrictions and time schedule as per requirements of the company.

8. Due to exigencies of work you may be transferred or seconded to an Associated Company/Unit
anywhere in Pakistan on the sole discretion of the Management in the interest of the Company.

9. You will have necessary authority to fulfill the requirements of your job and you will exercise the
vested authorities efficiently and diligently to the satisfaction of the Management. You will not act
in any manner contrary to the interest of the company.

10. During the currency of this contract you shall not accept any other contract with any other
company or any employment, whether part-time or otherwise nor engage in any business activity
directly or indirectly.

11. You will be bound to make good any loss or damage to the Company property caused by your
negligence, fraud, carelessness or act of omission Just termination of the contract may not
exonerate you from liability to make good such loss or damage.

12. During your contract or after its expiry you will not disclose any information relating to company
or customers and will not divulge any of company’s affair or trade that you may obtain while with
us, unless compelled to do by a court of law.

13. This contract is liable to be terminated by the company at anytime if the termination of
employment by the employer is because of indiscipline, fraud, theft, embezzlements of funds or
any major offence, the employee will lose all the benefits with the salary.

14. Your services can be terminated by the company giving you one month’s written notice or pay in
lieu of notice. Similarly you can also tender one month’s resignation or pay in lieu for termination
of the employment. No such notice is required during the probationary period. However, in case
of breach of any terms of appointment and any rules and regulations of service, or for any other
misconduct, you will be subject to disciplinary action, which could result in termination of your
employment with the Company without any compensation thereof.

15. In case of resignation or termination, you will not leave the Company until formal acceptance of
resignation and/ or the Company issues clearance.

16. In case of breach of any of the term of this Contract and Company rules and regulations, this
contract is liable to immediate termination and you will not be entitled to any compensation as a
result thereof.

17. You shall be responsible for the payment of Income Tax as per the Income Tax Ordinance and
related Govt. Enactment.

18. You will be under obligation to abide by the company’s policies, directions and instructions issued
from time to time.

This contract is initially for a period of One Year. However in case of continuation of the Project, if
your assistance is required further the Company shall extend the contract on mutual consent.

If the above terms and conditions are acceptable to you, please sign below at the appropriate place
on the duplicate copy of this letter.
