DAY 2 JULY 2, 2024

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
– Mahatma Gandhi. Every learner has the diverse needs that we, teachers should
address. Learning has no boundaries. Learning never exhaust the mind.
The Department of Education (DepEd) launched the National Learning Camp
(NLC) during the 2022-2023 End-of-School Year (EOSY) break in support of the
MATATAG Basic Education Agenda and as a sub-program under the National
Learning Recovery Program (NLRP) targeted at correcting learning loss. The NLC
strives to encourage learner interests, socio-emotional skills, personal growth, and
character development by including exciting and engaging activities.
During the second day of the National Learning Camp, students were gathered
in the Kampo Nuebe Learning Camp to have their attendance at 8:00 in the morning.
There were three (3) camps which separates the learners from the Enhancement camp
and Consolidation camp. Teacher’s in-charge were happy seeing the students coming
in the NLC program. Fun learning awaits them. NLC learners’ were gathered for their
orientation.
Every learning areas taught were aligned to the skills that were least mastered
by the learners. So as to assess what may be lacking of this learning loss. Learnings
were integrated with fun games and rewards for students who participated and have
done their best throughout the entire day. Indeed, learning could be fun when
integrated with new ideas and innovation. Subjects taught were enticing to the learners
for them to come for another day of learning.
