CHISHIMBA FALLS BACKGROUND

The Chishimba is a natural phenomenon, nobody discovered it. Before COVID-19, Chishimba

Falls received 200 – 2500 tourists per month. It was established as a national heritage site in

1911 while Zambia was still in the colonial rule. It was the Bembas who first settled at

Chishimba and made shrines. The cave is also part of the tourism attraction because it is believed

that the spirit of Mutumena (the priest) resides there.

The things that limited my study was that;

 The distance from my school and the location of Chishimba are very far from each

other.

 The road networks are bumpy and graveled thus making me tired along the way.

 There is no official site blog/vlog or page for us researchers to refer to.
