 The distance from my school and the location of Chishimba are very far from each

colonial rule. It was the Bembas who first settled at Chishimba and made shrines. The cave is

also part of the tourism attraction because it is believed that the spirit of Mutumena (the priest)

resides there.

G) ACT. Lakes and rivers are some of our most important natural resources because
they provide us with water for fishing, irrigation, transportation, recreation,
tourism, hydro power generation, and domestic and industrial use. Water is
therefore a driver of the economy. Water if prudently used can contribute
significantly to poverty reduction and improvement in the quality of people’s
 lives. Regrettably, there is no political will to turn this abundant natural resource
into a tool for poverty reduction.
