Happy Summer Break

General instructions-

1. It is mandatory to do the activities of all the subjects in notebook.


2. Holiday homework is a part of subject enrichment and will be assessed on the basis of creativity and
efforts of the students.
3. Revise syllabus covered so far of all the subjects thoroughly.
4. Parents can be facilitators at home but the work should be done independently by the child in his/her
own handwriting. A beautiful handwriting makes a good impression. Practice one page of English and
Hindi Writing Daily.
5. Do all the given work in a separate notebook. For every subject purchase a notebook of 80 pages.
6. Submit it to the concerned subject teachers on the 04 July 2024.

with pencil.
5. Read the unseen passages on pg. no. 4 to 15 and answer the
following questions given in the passage. Do all BBC work with pencil.
6. Read Short Story given on the Page 214 & 215. Note down all important
points of story writing. Read a sample story on page no 220 and write a
short story given on the same page. BBC
7. Read page no 438 from BBC Vocabulary- spelling. Do the given exercise
on the page no 438 to 440.
8. Learn the question & answer of Lesson 1 and 2 from the notebook.
Read Determiners, Auxiliary Verbs and Tag Question from BBC.
9. Do plantation at your home and paste your photographs in file.

3. MATHEMATI I. Write about any 5 Indian Mathematicians with their photos and their contribution in
CS Math.
(For this students can also watch movies based on the famous Indian mathematicians
some suggestions are also mentioned below)

II. We all use different electric appliances to meet our daily needs. Now as an activity,
let us see how much electricity we consume on a daily basis.
 So firstly, complete the table given below, the first row has already been filled as an
example. Paste the table in your math assignment (red) copy.
 After completing the table, take note of how much electricity is consumed by each
household appliance. In your assignment copy then, write suggestions on how to
reduce this consumption.
 Represent this information on a bar graph (by taking cost per day on Y-axis and
household consumption on X-axis. Paste graph sheet in the assignment copy.
 Write which appliance's electricity expenditure cost was maximum?
