Wednesday
Last day for students to complete projects. All of class time will be given to completing finishing touches and filling out wrap-up selfevaluation. Students will be doing last minute final touches on their projects. Also, they will be filling out a self-evaluation on how well they feel they have contributed adequate creativity, effort, etc. and what grade they would give themselves. I will ensure a workable classroom environment and encourage students to be honest in their self-evaluations. I will tell students that I will use this evaluation as a guide in doing my own evaluation. Students will learn to look upon their work with a critical eye, examine errors that occurred, and how they solved them or could avoid them in the future.

What/how youll teach

I will meet with students working on timeline or interview project and check in to make sure they are on the right track for project completion.

Creating checklist will ensure students have completed all necessary steps. Teacher will meet with students working on song/poem and cooking/restaurant projects.

What will be learned (and how will you know?)

Students will learn how to take final steps in finishing up a project in logical, well-thought out steps. Because this project has been going on for 4 weeks, students should recognize the value of continuous work, rather than cramming this all into one week.

Students will learn how to complete a project through logical, well thought-out steps and have accountability for completing all components of project through checklist.

By actively listening to other presentations and by commenting upon them, students will get various examples of the many different cultural identities within our nation.
