Documents Checklist for Sponsorship PR Application of ______________________________

List of documents required from each applicant:

Passport of the applicant (with all the visa stamps including arrival and
departure stamps)
Proof of status in Canada (if inside Canada)
Birth certificate
Grade 10th & 12th Docs of the applicant (If applicable)
All diploma, bachelor’s, and master's individual marksheets (if applicable)
All diploma, bachelor's, and master's degree certificates (if applicable)
2 Digital Photo of the applicant - 50 mm X 70 mm - Specs attached
Work Experience letters of the applicant (if applicable)
Current job’s roles and responsibilities letter from your employer (if
applicable)
Salary slips for the past six months (if applicable)
Marriage certificate (if applicable)
Divorce certificate or Affidavit of Separation (if applicable)
Adoption Certificate (If any dependent children were adopted)
Dependent children's birth certificates
Proof of relationship to sponsor
Police clearance certificate (required for all the countries you have lived in for
more than 6 months),
Photos of your wedding, customary celebrations, engagement, and/or
outings. Provide a maximum of 20 photographs to support your relationship
(taken at different times and places).

Documents to show as proof that you are living together: (We need either of
the two sets of documents below.)
Proof of joint ownership of a residential property.
 Rental agreement showing both the principal applicant and the
sponsor as occupants of a rental property.
Proof of joint utility accounts (e.g. electricity, gas, telephone, internet),
joint credit card accounts, or joint bank accounts. (Submit a minimum
of 1 joint bill).
Vehicle insurance showing that both the applicant and sponsor have
been declared to the insurance company as residents of the insured's
address.
Copies of government-issued documents for you and your sponsor
showing the same address (e.g., drivers' licenses - submit a minimum of 1
government-issued document for each person).
Other documents issued to the principal applicant or the sponsor
showing the same address, whether the accounts are held jointly or not
(e.g., cell phone bills, pay stubs, tax forms, bank or credit card
statements, insurance policies - submit a minimum of 1
government-issued document for each person).

If you are not living together, then provide the following documents:
Proof of contact: Provide letters, printed/clear screenshots of text
messages, emails or social media conversations, or other documented
proof of contact between you and your sponsor. Provide a maximum of
10 pages. (You must provide certified translations in either English or
French of all proof of contact documents that are not already in English
or French).
Proof of the sponsor’s visits, such as airline ticket coupons or used
boarding passes, photocopies of pages of your sponsor’s passport
showing entry-exit stamps supporting visits, etc.

Share at least two of the following four options and provide the documents
requested for each. Check which options you are selecting.
Important documents for you and your spouse showing that you are
recognized as each other's spouse (such as employment or insurance
benefits)
Documentary evidence of financial support between you and your
sponsor, and/or shared expenses.
Other proof that your relationship is recognized by your friends and/or
family (e.g., letters from friends/family, social media information showing
a public relationship, etc.).
 Proof of past cohabitation, if you are not currently living together but
did at one point in the past.

List of documents required from the sponsors:

Proof of status in Canada
Passport
If employed, then provide an original letter from your current employer
stating your period of employment, salary, and regular hours per week.
Most recent salary slips
Notice of assessment (This must include the line 150 - total income)

All documents should be properly scanned. Please do not submit

mobile capture photos or use mobile scanning applications such as
CamScanner. An application won’t be submitted without properly
scanned documents.
