Objective - The morning yoga session was organized to celebrate International Day of
Yoga, promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being among participants. It aimed to
introduce individuals to the practice of yoga and highlight its benefits for holistic health.
Explanation Of Activity:
The session began with a warm welcome by the MIMA volunteer. who introduced the
significance of Yoga Day and the objectives of the event.
Led by certified yoga instructors (Neha rishi), Our kids engaged in a series of yoga asanas
(poses) suitable for all levels of experience. The session focused on enhancing flexibility,
strength, and relaxation through mindful movement and breath awareness.
Our kids learned various breathing techniques to promote calmness, reduce stress, and
improve respiratory health.
A guided meditation session allowed participants to cultivate inner peace and mental clarity,
emphasizing the integration of mind, body, and spirit.
The session concluded with gentle stretching exercises and refreshment for kids. Neha rishi
encouraged sharing insights or personal reflections on how yoga can contribute to overall
well-being.
Feedback:
Kids and volunteers expressed satisfaction with the session, noting improvements in energy
