Final Project Instructions

Objective: Create a drone design using 3D AutoCAD, document the design

process, and submit the final files and video presentation.

Steps to Complete the Project:

1. Watch Tutorial Video:

o Begin by watching the tutorial video on creating a drone using 3D
AutoCAD: YouTube Tutorial.
2. Design Your Own Drone:
o Use the techniques and steps demonstrated in the tutorial to create
your own unique drone design in 3D AutoCAD.
o Ensure your design is original and not just a copy of the tutorial.
3. Add Identification Details:
o Below your drone drawing, add a text box containing your:
▪ Full Name
▪ Course
▪ Section
▪ School
4. Create a Video Presentation:
o Record a video showing the process of creating your drone design.
This should include:
▪ An introduction explaining your project and design concept.
▪ A demonstration of key steps you took in the design process.
▪ A brief conclusion summarizing your experience and any
challenges you faced.
o The video should be a maximum of 5 minutes in length.
5. Upload Your Files:
o Save your 3D AutoCAD design in a .dwg format.
o Upload both the .dwg file and your video presentation to your
Google Drive.
6. Submit Your Work:
o Generate shareable links for both the .dwg file and the video from
your Google Drive.
o Paste these links into the Google Form: Submission Form.

Submission Checklist:

Watch the tutorial video.

Create your drone design in 3D AutoCAD.
Add your identification details below the drawing.
Record a video of your design process (max 5 minutes).
Upload the .dwg file and video to Google Drive.
 • Submit the links to the Google Form.

Important Notes:

• Ensure your Google Drive links are set to be accessible to anyone with the
link.
• Verify that your video does not exceed 5 minutes.
• Double-check that all required information is included below your
drawing.
