ELIGIBILITY
The tournament is closed among the Affiliated District Units
of All Assam Chess Association.
All affiliated districts may send four (4) number of players in
normal entry fees.
Entry Fee Normal Rs.600/- & Special Rs.1000/-
All Districts/Affiliated Units are requested to pay their entry
fee and send their list of participants by e-mail on or before
28th May, 2024 for smooth running of the tournament. All
entries should be submitted through concerned districts
units.

All entries including special entry should come through the
concerned District Association. The entry fee shall be
deposited to the Bank account of
Punjab National Bank Bordoloi Nagar Branch, Tinsukia,

Registration: AACA registration (fee of Rs. 150/-) is
compulsory for all the players whoever
participate in the Inter District selection
tournament. The responsibility of collecting the
AACA registration fee is fixed on the district
secretary. District President/Secretary must be
deposited the entire registration fee of the
players along with list of the participant to the
Organizer before 28th May, 2024.
Accommodation: Free dormitory accommodation will be
provided to 4 selected players and one
manager of each team/category only. The
participants are requested to bring their own
bed rolls, blanket, mosquito nets etc. However,
arrangement of mattress can be made on
payment basis on prior intimation. Those who
want to avail this facility must inform organizer
on or before 29th May, 2024. Special entry/
Parent/Guardian/accompanying person must
make their own arrangement.
Appeal Committee: A five-member appeal committee will
be formed at the manager's meet from different
District Units with two reserved members to
look into grievances and complains of the
players during the tournament.

Default Time : Default time for arriving at the chess board is
30 minutes from the beginning of the play.
Electronic Devices : All electronic items including wrist
watches (all type of watches) are not allowed in this
tournament. Players in possession of such items will be
declared lost.
Dress Code: Each district association should send their
players in proper uniform (T-shirt / Formal shirts) with the
district name written prominently on the back side.
Protest : Protest, if any, against the decision of the Chief
Arbiter shall be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs.
1000/- within 30 minutes of the occurrence of the incident.
The protest fee will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.
Disciplinary Action : No player shall withdraw from the
tournament without formal application to the Chief Arbiter
and his consent thereof, otherwise such player(s) would not
be allowed to participate for one year in any tournament
organized under the recognition of AACA. Further the player
would be debarred from representing the State in any
National Level Chess Championship held for one year with
immediate effect.
