competing in this market?

Create fun and exciting dining experience.


The restaurant should look and feel like a
cafe in Italy.
Employ fun, outgoing and energetic staff.
Probably have a large outdoor dining area
as well.
QUESTION 2
For the strategy that you select in question number 1, develop an
appropriate marketing mix (for example, what products should
they offer, at what quality, with what ingredient choices and so
on). You should either use the 4P's or the 7P's, whichever one you
believe is more suitable, but ensure that your marketing mix wil
effectively deliver the proposed strategy.
We would use the 7P’s as the main purpose of our restaurant as we want to
provide quality products and the best customer service to our customers. The
products and foods we offer are inspired by Italians, we ensure that the
ingredients are fresh, safe and in high quality.
Also, our restaurant would love to offer some discounts or free products to our
loyal customers if it is their birthday or birth month. We ensure that are staffs are
trained and has a good customer communication skills. As to that, we are
confident that you will love and surely be back to dine with us again.
PRODUCT
The cornerstone of our menu,
featuring various crusts, sizes,
and toppings. Specialty pizzas
often feature unique
combinations of ingredients and
sauces.
We also offers pasta dishes,
including traditional Italian
recipes like Italian carbonara,
pesto pasta, and lasagna.
PROMOTION
We will promote our product
through digital marketing such as
posting in different websites, social
networking sites, video marketing
as most of the people today is now
on using social media. Also, a
successful promotion strategy must

The raw materials are semi-
cooked and are fully prepared as PROCESS

so that they are aware to what
they will eat. The restaurant also

quality standards.

These are the skilled employees.
They have standard uniforms,
they appear clean and well-
groomed and work in a hygienic
environment. Employees seldom
maintain good relationships with
customers and deliver consistent
standards of hospitality.
We follow a price skimming policy,

where it prices its new products
higher than its competitors and
gradually decreases its price to
meet the market average. High
prices tend to create excitement
among the audience as it is a sign of
high quality and good customer
service and the pricing strategy also
depends on the size of the pizza
ordered.
PLACE Our restaurant operates through a
mix of dine-in restaurants, delivery-
only outlets, and express locations to
serve customers in various settings,
from casual dining to quick service.
We carefully selects locations based
on demographics, traffic patterns,
and proximity to residential and
commercial areas to maximize
accessibility and visibility to potential
customers.
PHYSICAL EVIDENCE
We maintain stringent quality control
standards and a hygienic working
environment. The pleasant ambience
with appropriate lighting and italian
music appeals to the customers. The
cutlery used by the company also
plays its role in delivering an
experience of luxury dining to the
customers. Also, the take out box is
not made by plastic as we use foil
aluminum paper boxes.

Do you think that this new pizza chain,


as you have constructed it, will be
successful? Why?
Yes, our proposed new chain of Italian pizza
restaurant will be successful as we used an effective
strategy on doing a marketing mix. The 7 P's of
marketing is effective on doing market for a
business such as restaurant. It is effective whether
it'll be digital marketing or traditional marketing
ways and more likely to achieve our marketing goals.
