MEMORANDUM

SUBJECT: OFFER OF APPOINTMENT AGAINST THE POST OF

INSPECTOR CUSTOMS/ INTELLIGENCE OFFICER (135-16) IN
THE CUSTOMS DEPARTMENT UNDER FEDERAL BOARD OF
REVENUE.

Consequent upon recommendations of the Federal Public Service

Commission, Islamabad conveyed vide letter No. F-4-181/2022-R-FS-II dated
26.06.2024, the Competent Authority has been pleased to offer appointment to Mr.
Sandesh Kumar (FPSC Roll No. 193) against the post of Inspector Customs/
Intelligence Officer (BS-16) in the Customs Department under administrative control
of Federal Board of Revenue, Islamabad: -

2. The terms and conditions of appointment are briefly as follow:

The new incumbent Inspector Customs / Intelligence Officers will be

entitled to draw pay in the Basic Pay Scale (BPS-16) i.e. Rs.28070-2260-
95870 and usual allowances as admissible under the rules.

You will be on probation for a period of one year extendable by further

period not exceeding one year provided that if no order is made on the
expiry of the first year of probation period, the probation shall be deemed
to has been extended for a further period of one year; provided further that
if no order is made by the date following the term of extended period of
probation, the probation shall be deemed as terminated. Appointment on
probation shall be subject to the provisions of Section 6 of the Civil
Servants Act, 1973.

As a probationer, and after the termination of probation, his services shall

be subject to the provisions of the Civil Servants Act, 1973 and the rules
made thereunder.

The services will be liable to be terminated in accordance with Section 11

of the Civil Servants Act, 1973.

This offer of appointment is provisional and shall be subject to fulfillment

of following conditions during the probation period:-

Verification of Character and Antecedents.

Verification of Academic documents, Domicile etc.
Final medical fitness certificate as prescribed.
 You will be required to complete the requisite training to the satisfaction of
the head of training institutions where you will undergo the training.

You will be liable to serve anywhere within or outside Pakistan in any post
under the Federal Government or a Provincial Government or a local
authority established by any such government. However, you are advised
to convey 1st, 2nd and 3rd option / choice of the posting station i.e. Islamabad
/ Gilgit-Baltistan/ Punjab / Sindh/ Balochistan/ Khyber Palchttutkhwa.

In case you are already in service of any Government Department /

autonomous body etc. and has applied for the post through proper channel,
you should get yourself relieved from your employer before joining the
post.

If the offer of appointment on the abovementioned terms and conditions

is acceptable, you should report to the Medical Centre for Federal Government Servants
for your medical examination immediately. The original medical fitness certificate, two
character certificates and willingness/ acceptance to join the post may be submitted to
the undersigned by 26.07.2024 failing which the offer will be treated as
cancelled/withdrawn. The written acceptance should be forwarded through Courier
Servicer/U.M.S./Registered Post. Candidate, if not willing to accept the offer, is advised
to convey his regret in writing. Notification of appointment/ posting will be issued on
receipt of above documents.

No TA/DA will be admissible for joining the post.
