- Crochet Thread (20/40).
- Crochet Hook (1mm).

INTRODOCTION
In here you will find pattern and instructions for my mini rose. This adorable roses are
perfect applique for anything from an earring and necklace, to a hairclip, bag or a hat.
Crocheting several of this blossoms, would allow you to make a beautiful brooch or a
stunning mini bouquet.

This delicate flowers are small in size, but are as


eye catching as many larger flowers (or more).
Try them in pastel colors for beautful outdoor
table decoration.

Feel free to use the finished flower in any prod-


uct, personal or commercial. But please don’t
resell, repackage, redistribute or make this
pattern available online in any form. This is my
original design and photos. Thanks!

Mini Rose : Flower Instructions
Flower :
Flower is done in a row by row motion, changing direction with each row. Fol-
low the instructions below to complete the crocheted strip that we are going to
use to make the flower.

Row 1 : Ch 40 times, then add 5 more channels, and start you way back by ...

Row 2 : dc to the 40th Ch [dc, ch 2 times, dc] 13 times, last dc connect to first ch.

Row 3 : To Last dc, start doing your way back with [Ch 2 times, dc, 5 tc, dc, Ch 2
times over lower row, join with sl st and move to next batch] 5 times, next batch
is [Ch 2 times, 5 dc, Ch 2 times over lower row, join with sl st, similar to last
batch] 9 times, join with sl st and cut thread.

Once finished, it should look likst this :


Mini Rose : Flower Instructions (part 2)

Now that we have the body of the flower, we need to bring it to the shape of the
flower - as you can see, there are 5 larger ‘bumps’ to the strip - they act like the
outer petals, so, when you roll the strip, start from the small petals.

Follow (roughly) the following photographs :

Once you finished rolling the strip, turn


it around - and sew the bottom until its
fixed and firm.

Instructions - Half Double Crochet (hdc)


- Cut

Foundation Row : Ch 11 times.

Row 1 : Working back down the chain, skip 1 ch and work in 10 ch, sc, 9 hdc, sc to
first ch and work up the other side in foundation row. 9 hdc, sc.

Row 2 : second row is all sc over the lower row. start with over last ch, continue
with sc 11 and keep goingon the other side with 11sc. finish the petal with ch 3
times sl st to first ch and cut thread.

Once the leaf is done, you can sew it to


the bottom of the mini rose - best location
is between two large petals. But it really
up to the design you are looking for.
That’s it :) Enjoy using your beautiful new mini rose in any of your projects, add
a mini clasp to make a brooch or appliques. Glue to a hair clip or make beautiful
decorations. Have fun!
