Leading Questions.

Why do you want to be a lecturer?

Sir, considering the passions, as I have already said that it is long lasting passion to
be a lecturer because in college I was very influenced by my college English
teacher because of his dealings with the students especially with me, imagining
that English teachers are kind heartd and humane. He was the one who guided me
from nothingness to something. And

Speaking practically, I have been working as sse since almost 8 years teaching
English alongwith Urdu, islamiat and pak study so now I also want to get a chance
at higher level so that I may focus on my primary subject. Moreover it would really
be prestigious to teach different classes. It will provide me with a lot of exposure.

What is formative and summative assessment?

Formative assessments have low stakes and usually carry no grade, which in some instances
may discourage the students from doing the task or fully engaging with it. The purpose
of formative assessment is to monitor student learning and provide ongoing feedback to staff
and students. It is assessment for learning. If designed appropriately, it helps students identify
their strengths and weaknesses, can enable students to improve their self-regulatory skills so that
they manage their education in a less haphazard fashion than is commonly found. It also provides
information to the faculty about the areas students are struggling with so that sufficient support
can be put in place. For eg submit one or two sentences identifying the main point of a lecture.
Formative assessment refers to tools that identify misconceptions, struggles, and learning gaps
along the way and assess how to close those gaps. It includes effective tools for helping to shape
learning

The goal of summative assessment is to evaluate student learning at the end of an instructional
unit by comparing it against some standard or benchmark. Summative assessments often
have high stakes and are treated by the students as the priority over formative assessments. In
contrast, summative assessments evaluate student learning, knowledge, proficiency, or success
at the conclusion of an instructional period, like a unit, course, or program. Summative
assessments are almost always formally graded and often heavily weighted (though they do not
need to be). Summative assessment can be used to great effect in conjunction and alignment with
formative assessment, and instructors can consider a variety of ways to combine these
approaches.

Diff b/w Hero and Protagonist?

Sir, Protagonist is a literary term which means the leading character of a literary
around which the story revolves. A Protagonist is not always socially good
although he/she is a great and fascinating character. For example Oedipus and Stan
are the protagonists but not a hero. Hero is a social term for a good or too good
person who is ideal and exceptional in his/her qualities and likeable for most of the
society like Jesus in Paradise Lost who sacrifices for the sin adam’s and eve’s
disobedience and causes salvation for the humanity.

What is your personal academic plan? What are you going to achieve further?

Sir, Interested in post-graduation. But first of all, I will try to enhance academic
proficiency and especially spoken, plan to join short courses on language skills.
Striving to get opportunity to teach at college level to be part of larger and a step
higher academic community, I want do some language courses like TEFL and
TESL, through Which I will be able to refine my teaching abilities. Moreover I am
interested in gaining proficiency in academic writing for which I need a better
platform like colleges providing BS programs. Moreover, as it is an age of artificial
intelligence I will try to do some course related to chatGPT and other AI tools.
