Application to Participate in an Off-Site Motorcycle Show

In accordance with Maryland Vehicle Law, a new vehicle dealer franchised to sell motorcycles, or a licensed vehicle salesperson
who is employed by said dealer, may participate in more than two (2) annual vehicle shows.

Instructions to the Motorcycle Dealer:

• All Motorcycle Shows must have a sponsor. Please provide the sponsor’s information below.
• The dealer must have a valid, Maryland dealer license and obtain approval to participate in a show from the Maryland
Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Administration at least 60 days before the show is held.
• The motorcycle show must be open to all Maryland dealers.
• The motorcycle show may not exceed 10 consecutive days.
• The participating motorcycle dealer, or the licensed salesperson employed at the motorcycle show by the dealer, may conduct all
activities involved in a motorcycle sale, including executing a buyer’s order, accepting a deposit of any amount, completing the
sales contract, issuing temporary registration plates and a temporary registration certificate, and delivery of the motorcycle.

Reminder: The sale of a used motorcycle to a Maryland resident requires a safety inspection to be completed by an
authorized Maryland Safety Inspection Station prior to the delivery.
