1. ORGANIZACION DEL PROYECTO

I looked for informa on about animals in danger of ex nc on in Peru, I
found many op ons from which I chose the “YELLOW-TAILED CLOTHY
MONKEY” since it seemed very important to me because of the
appearance of this animal endemic to the Peruvian Amazon.

Having already chosen my topic, I tried to search for different sources of

informa on on internet pages, taking note of the important parts to
capture it in my project.

Having the notes of informa on about the “YELLOW-TAILED

MONOCHORO” I began to capture it in the trailer, transla ng it into a Word
to present it.

During the process of making the advance in Word I had the need to look
for images to illustrate the informa on captured on the topic.

Mono choro cola amarilla

CARACTERIZTICAS:
The yellow-tailed woolly monkey reaches a length of 54
cen meters. The males are recognized by their impressive golden pubic hair and the females
by their smaller and more delicate hairs. They eat fruits, flowers, leaves and insects and walk in
groups of between five and 18. individuals. Live in forests with large, tall trees that can support
your weight

Habitad:
The habitat of the yellow-tailed woolly monkey
mainly includes the territory of Amazonas and San
Martín, but it has also been found crossing the
borders with Loreto, La Libertad and Huánuco. It
is believed to live between 1500 and 3000 meters
above sea level, more precisely in montane forests
and cloud forests.

RIESGOS;
This species of primate is endemic in Peru, that is, it
only lives in the northeastern montane forests of the
departments of Amazonas and San Martín and its
distribution is restricted to those areas. It is strongly
threatened due to the loss of its habitat,
deforestation, its extraction and use as a pet; so
finding it in nature is increasingly difficult

MEDIDAS DE PROTECCION:
For its recovery, a joint operation was carried out
between the personnel of the Deconcentrated
Environmental Protection Unit of the National
Police of Peru, the Specialized Environmental
Prosecutor's Office and the Regional
Environmental Authority of Amazonas (ARA), who
found it in a home inside a cage. of wood with metal
mesh in Chachapoyas, Amazonas. Finally, the
report indicates that urgent initiatives must be
implemented to conserve the yellow-tailed woolly
monkey, protect the forests that are its habitat,
promote the creation of a biological corridor;
control of illegal logging and land trafficking
