BARANGAY OLANDIA, BARCELONA, SORSOGON.

WHEREAS, JORGE ESPEÑA was appointed as Barangay Tanod (BT) on ____________________.

WHEREAS, It is so provided in Republic Act 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991
and DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2002-150, dated September 18, 2002, otherwise known as
the Guidelines on the appointment of Barangay Secretaries, Treasurers and other Appointive
Barangay Officials, that all appointive Barangay Officials shall be duly concurred with by the
majority of the Sangguniang Barangay Members;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Barangay Kagawad Ariel Eroda duly seconded by unanimous assent, be it;

A RESOLUTION REQUESTING FOR FIFTY (50) BAGS OF CEMENT TO ATTY. CYNTHIA

FALCOTELO-FORTES HONORABLE MAYOR OF BARCELONA, SORSOGON FOR THE
CONTINOUS IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT AT BARANGAY OLANDIA,
BARCELONA, SORSOGON

WHEREAS, the specific provisions of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of
1991, delegated functions and responsibilities to local governments unit (LGUs), primarily
on the effective and efficient delivery of services and facilities at the local level;

WHEREAS, there is a need to provide fund assistance to the barangay from the Local Government
Unit in order to alleviate their financial burdens in carrying out the devolved functions
and responsibilities;

WHEREAS, barangay Olandia desires to implement projects which is beneficial to the constituents of
barangay Olandia specially this time of Pandemic;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Reymund B. Escurel duly seconded by unanimous

assent, be it
RESOLVED, as it is hereby DONE to request the Honorable Mayor, Atty. Cynthia Falcotelo-Fortes a
50 bags of cement for the continuous implementation of the project at Barangay Olandia,
Barcelona, Sorsogon.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copies of this resolution be furnished to the offices concerned for
their information and appropriate action.
