Subject: Customer Access to Fused Battery

Power and Ground inside a Cascadia Cab
Models Affected: 2017-2019 Freightliner Cascadia vehicles built without a cab load disconnect
switch (CLDS)

Work Instructions
General Information
NOTE: Cascadia and New Cascadia vehicles have entirely different electrical architecture.

Cascadia vehicles have an accessible fused battery power and ground location inside the cab. The SAM
CAB has a variety of fuse locations available for customer access.

Additionally, ground splice packs are available for a clean ground-return termination point.
