This material is not considered to be hazardous according to regulatory guidelines see Section 15.
Health Hazards –
Material is essentially non-toxic. However, if dust is generated, it may scratch the eyes and cause minor
irritation to the respiratory tract. When heated, the vapour/fumes given off may cause respiratory tract
irritation.
Inhalation –
In case of adverse exposure to vapors and/or aerosols formed at elevated temperatures, immediately remove
the affected victim from exposure.
Skin Contact –
For hot product, immediately immerse in or flush affected area with large amounts of cold water to dissipate
heat. Cover with clean cotton sheeting or gauze and get prompt medical attention.
Eye Contact –
Flush thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, get medical assistance.
Appropriate Extinguishing Media : Use water fog, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide (CO2) to extinguish
flames.
Unusual Fire Hazards : High dust levels may create potential for explosion.
Hazardous Combustion Products : Oxides of carbon, incomplete combustion products, smoke, fume,
flammable hydrocarbons.

HANDLING
Care should be taken when handling and storing this product. Apart from the specific nature of the
polymer product, conditions such as humidity, sunlight and temperature have an influence on way the
product behaves during storage and handling. Protect material from direct sunlight. Special attention
should be paid to avoid inappropriate stacking of product packages/units.

Store in a cool, dry place with adequate ventilation. Keep away from incompatible materials, open flames, high
temperatures and direct sunlight.

Safety glasses with side-shields are recommended.

Use certified respiratory protection equipment meeting EU requirements or equivalent.
Protective Measures –
Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash facility.

Adequate ventilation should be provided so that exposure limits are no exceeded at workstations.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This product is a film sheeting food and pharmaceutical grade LLDPE liner. It is a clear, single 3-ply co-
extruded nominal virgin polyolefin membrane. It is produced from a blend of resins that MYF considers
proprietary.

This product is not regulated substance under the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. All hazardous
components, if any, are encapsulated.
