1.0 INTRODUCTION

“HIP HIP HOORAY”, organised by the English Department, offers a number of

interesting language-based activities for all the students of Sekolah Menengah
Kebangsaan Datuk Haji Panglima Jakarullah. This program aims to encourage the
use of English Language among students either in spoken or written activities. It is
hoped that at the end of the program, the students’ interest towards this subject
will be heightened and simultaneously their achievement will be improved.

2.0 OBJECTIVE

 To promote the use of English among students

 To encourage participation of students in school-level competitions
 Identify new talents for school representatives
 To expose the students to the use of English in various kinds of activities
 To train the students to produce competent and well-trained individuals or
teams.

3.0 CLOSURE

With the support and commitment from all parties, it is hoped that the program
planned will be able to fulfill the objectives stated. Students who anticipate the
program held are aspired to become confident and to defeat all the insecurities
they have when using the language. In line with the school mission and vision, the
program will be able to produce students who are successful in all aspects of life.

 Shout Battle! -20 mins

 Finding Nemo – 30min

 Brainstorming ! – 30 mins

b) Slot 2 – Team Building!

 Cups Up, Cups Down Game! - (15 mins)

 Scavanger Hunt ! - 30 mins)

 Tiktok/Short Video Challenge Submission (Team Project)

c) Closing Ceremony
