Heavy Duty Flame Detector

Description
ER-3F Series Ultraviolet Flame Detectors are used for detection and
supervision of ultraviolet rays raddiating from flame in industrial
combustion systems. ER – F Series is designed to work with Honeywell
18838... ERA – 03P series and 03... Flame Monitors which is in ERA’s
product line. ER-3F UV. Detectors can operate for an extremely long
time with maximum efficiency under very hard conditions.

Connections of ER-3F UV. Detector

1. Remove the connector by pulling 2. After remowing the connector’s screw from
Downwards after unlocking the the cover, remove the connector from the
Bottom part cover, and connect the lines as shown

3. Connect the line of terminal no.9 Of ERA -03U.1

to ER-3F’s terminal no.2
Connect the line of terminal no.10 Of ERA -03U.1
To ER -3F’s terminal no. 1

4. Put the connectors back properly.

5. Connect the ground line to ER-3F’s

 Rotation adjustment

When the rotation adjuster is rotated clockwise or counter clockwise with the key, the length of the thread,
in front of the detector can be adjusted. The remaining length of the thread in the detector needs to be
equalized with the thread of the nipple on the furnace. By this way the detector can be installed in the
desired rotation.

Attention
If the detector’s cover needs to be removed, the cover
Should be pulled gently and horizontally. If not, the UV.Tube
İnside the detector will be broken.
