The Project Look Back Report is to document benefits expected by the project that cannot be measured at the time
of project closure. Leadership may request that the intended benefit is tracked until the benefit has been received.
Several project management documents contain metrics related to an expected benefit of a project and can be used
to create a project benefits list for tracking, monitoring and reporting until the look back period has ended. These
documents are: Idea Request, Project Charter, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Quality Metrics Matrix, Project
Management Plan, and the project benefits acceptance section in the Project Closing Report.
