ORDER :

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh participated in the “SWARNIM VIJAY

VARSH CELEBRATIONS” at Police grounds in Tirupati on 18.02.2021, where he
announced an enhancement of the Monetary Assistance given to the recipients of
Gallantry Awards.

2. The Gallantry awards are given to people who have displayed eminent acts of
valour or self-sacrifice, specially “most conspicuous gallantry and leadership under
adverse conditions”. Keeping the announcement by the Hon’ble Chief Minister in
recognition of the brave spirit of the awardees, Government hereby orders the
following enhancement of Monetary Assistance henceforth to the recipients of
Gallantry Awards.

3. The Monetary Grants mentioned in column (4) above of the Table are applicable
to persons belonging to Andhra Pradesh State by birth or domicile and shall come into
force with effect from the date of issue of the Order.

4. The expenditure towards the enhanced amount as indicated above shall be

debited to the Head of Account: “2070- Other Administrative Services – MH – 800
Other Expenditure - SH (16) Monetary Assistance to the recipients of Gallantry Awards”
– 050- Rewards -052-Awards.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Computer No: 1352162 File No: FIN01-
FMU0MISC/63/2021-FMU-GAD-I dated 18-02-2021.
