7 Installation

7.1 Mounting
The modules are installed using DIN rail and Figure 9 DIN rail mounting
ME 17,5 TBUS… (included) connectors.
3. Place the module onto the DIN rail from above. The
upper holding keyway must be hooked onto the top
edge of the DIN rail.
4. Push the module from the front towards the mounting
surface, making sure to align the module with the
ME 17,5 TBUS… connector.

Termination is required at each end of a trunk segment.

Phoenix Contact includes termination modules


with process fieldbus products that require
termination, such as the FB-PS-25/0.36A and
FB-ET module.
Remove the termination module on all but the last FB-ET

8 Connections
