transport will be presented on the occasion of the Sea Festival celebration. Among the awards to be presented are the
Liudvikas Stulpinas medal, the Lithuanian transport worker’s badges of honor, acknowledgements from the
Government and the Minister of Transport and Communications (location of the event – Smiltynė, near the Albatross
Monument and the Lithuanian Sea Museum).
21.30–00.00 NEW. Summer Film Festival “Sidabrinės gervės naktys” (“Silver Crane Nights”) in Klaipėda.
An evening of the best Lithuanian films and conversations. The evening will be hosted by the actress Aistė Diržiūtė,
guest – the film “Paradas” (“Parade”) actress Asta Zacharovaitė.
• Animated film “Patrikas” (“Patrick”). It is an animated film about being true to yourself and your childhood (directed by
Meinardas Valkevičius, duration – 10.30 min.).
• Short film “Reisas” (“The Trip”). A sensitive story about the love and life of a sailor (directed by Rimantas Oičenka,
duration – 25 min.).
• The work of a student “Blausos”. A story about a chatty “Bolt” driver and an apathetic lady who has a goal to take
revenge (directed by Arnas Balčiūnas, duration – 17 min.).
• Long-running film “Paradas” (“Parade”). A divorce is not necessarily just a divorce. Sometimes it becomes a new
discovery of each other (directed by Titas Laucius, duration – 97 min.).

starts from J. Janonio str., then goes to Herkaus Manto str., Naujojo Sodo str., Naujoji Uosto str., the Castle bridge, Pilies
str. and ends at the Cruise Ship Terminal. The presentation of march participants will take place after the crossing of the
Castle bridge.

at the Sea Festival, which provides a unique opportunity for young people to showcase themselves and perform in front

23.30 NEW. BETWEEN THE EARTH AND SKY. A spectacular night glow, fire, laser and music show of 30 hot air balloons.
Duration – 30 min. The balloon show soundtrack is composed by Dj Sun, who is public figure of Klaipėda, head of the
legendary dance school “Plazma”, producer, founder of the music publishing company “Ambivertal”.

take place at 11 o’clock. The ships of the “Pajūrio laivai”, Klaipėda Small Shipowners’ Association, will sail those who
would like to participate in the ceremony honoring those who died from the right-side of the Dangė quay (on the way
to the Northern Cape). Passengers with a flower ring will be transported free of charge (location of the event – the
Baltic Sea).

16.00 MARITIME CEREMONY FOR THE UNVEILING OF BITTS. The unveiling of the bitts commemorating the yacht
“Laisvė”. In the summer of 1993, s/y “Laisvė” went on a round-the-world voyage from Klaipėda and was the first to sail
around the legendary Cape Horn on 23.12.1994. The Mayor of Klaipėda Arvydas Vaitkus will attend the ceremony.

20.00–23.00 YOUTH SPOT AT THE SEA FESTIVAL. It is the initiative that is already being implemented for the fourth year
at the Sea Festival, which provides a unique opportunity for young people to showcase themselves and perform in front
of a large audience.
LOCATION – the square near the sailing ship “Meridianas”.
23.00 DANGĖ FLEET. The night sailing of traditional historic “Dangė Fleet” ships “In the Nets of the Star” between Biržos
and Castle bridges (location– Dangė river, between Biržos and Castle bridges).
23.30 NEW. BETWEEN THE EARTH AND SKY. A spectacular night glow, fire, laser and music show of 30 hot air balloons.
Duration – 30 min. The balloon show soundtrack is composed by Dj Sun, who is public figure of Klaipėda, head of the
legendary dance school “Plazma”, producer, founder of the music publishing company “Ambivertal”.
LOCATION OF THE EVENT – the main show area is behind the Jonas hill, site of the future “Bastionų namai” project,
Bangų str. Balloons will also be lighted next to the children’s playground located at the Danė square, Danės str. 6; on
the site of the former St. John Church on Pylimo str. 2.

9.00 FAIR OF THE SEA FESTIVAL. Flavors, discoveries, traditions, and new things at the biggest summer fair in Lithuania
(location – from Danės str. to the Northern Cape, Tiltų str., Turgaus str.).

10.00–16.00 SEA FESTIVAL PADEL CHAMPIONSHIP. An opportunity to get acquainted with this sport and observe fierce
battles (location – “Padelio namai”, indoor and outdoor courts, Jungtinė str. 1, Aukštkiemiai, Klaipėda District).

19.00 Closure of the Sea Festival Padel Championship Tournament

11.00–16.00 PREVENTION TENT OF KLAIPĖDA COUNTY POLICE HEADQUARTERS. Community officers will introduce
policeman’s profession, provide information on how to take care of the security of own property. A mobile crime
registration police crew will be on duty at the tent (location – Atgimimo square).
12.00–16.00 SPACE FOR FAMILIES “FOR CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES”. In the cozy, green square, there will be exciting,
fun, striped family activities waiting for you. For the space, we would like to express our gratitude to the Limited
Liability Company “REGSEDA”, the Limited Liability Company “BNTP” and the Limited Liability Company “KRATC”.
