1. TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS
The price is based on the following assumptions:

√ The shoring works will be performed at a location in Addis Ababa, around Betel Keraniyo Square Area

√ This Quotation is Valid for 10 Calendar days.

The below proforma Invoice is based on preliminary design result which is based on the geotechnical investigation report,
Architectural & Structural drawings as well as Topographic data provided by the Client/Consultant side and it shall be
√
subjected to change based on actual data and its subsequent final design, that will be provided at or after the signing of
contract and/or depending on the actual geological & site condition findings during shoring work execution.

The quantities given in the BOQ are only for reference and shall make no contractual sense during any dispute settlement, and
√ the actual quantity shall only determined by the approved design or its amendments and actual measurements taken during
the actual work.

√ The shoring pile drilling work will be conducted in Soil formation as per the captioned project soil investigation report.

The Offer includes the drilling of boreholes to the depth required as per the proposed shoring system based on the information
provided by the client. Accordingly, we assumed that the Maximum bulk excavation level up to bottom of
√
foundation is 8.00 M from the Natural Ground level [NGL]. We considered that drilling of bore holes is not
to exceed beyond the depth of 12.00 M from Average NGL or reduced excavation level.
If there is any underground obstruction (Septic Tank, Stone masonry…) the client has the responsibility to remove all the
√
obstruction for the drilling work.

We have not considered the over break concrete volume in the offer and the over break concrete volume shall be
√
incorporated during the payment process.

We considered that supply of fresh water; Temporary Store and Electricity for the execution of drilling will be provided by the
√
client.

The client is responsible for the staged bulk excavation work, including access to the site and machine working platform
√
preparations before drilling work begins. This responsibility extends to each layer of bulk excavation execution.

The contractor assumed that 69 No. of piles is going to be executed for total perimeter 108 M length of
√
All Sides of the project site. The Actual measurement will be taken after site clearing.

√ If Supply of Raw Material is the responsibility of the Client, Check (Section 2A).

√ Please Carefully evaluate the preamble to BOQ submitted for further information on assumptions.

3 Anchor Work
The price for the installation of inclined temporary 2Pcs of grouted anchors
includes anchor drilling and installation works, grouted body with grouting
mix, supply of anchor heads, anchor strands, grouting pipe materials, and
stressing works. However, it is the client's responsibility to provide the ML 45.50 4,900.75 222,984.13
cement.
4 Shot Crete Work
Perform Shot Crete membrane between the installed reinforced concrete
piles with a thickness of approximately 10cm. The price includes the
preparation and fixing of the reinforcement mesh to the shotcrete wall
between the shoring piles, as well as the supply of the Shot Crete machine
with conveying hose and heavy-duty air compressor. However, please note
that the provision of raw materials such as reinforcement bar, cement, sand,

5 Bracing Beam Work

Prepare and fix the reinforcement work, supply and prepare the formwork,
and carry out the concreting work for the top bracing beam. However, it is

5. TERMS OF PAYMENT
A. With out Material Offer Terms of Payment
1 . About 40% of the contract amount shall be released after Signing of contract agreement.
2 . About 30% of the contract amount shall be released upon 100% Completion of Piling Work
3 . About 20% of the contract amount shall be released upon 100% Completion of Anchoring Work
4 . About 10% of the contract amount upon completion of Final Layer of Shotcrete works.
√ Payment shall be prepared based on the work executed considering the unit rate of each item of work as detailed in this contract
