Dear Employees,

To further improve our collective work performance, we kindly ask all team members
engaged in SUMEC Projects to take a moment for self-reflection and evaluation of
their work performance over the past half-year in 2024. Your insights and
contributions are invaluable in our ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of our work.
Please adhere to the guidelines provided below as you prepare your self-evaluation
report. Your active participation is greatly appreciated as we strive to continuously
improve our overall work performance.

Purpose of Performance Evaluations

The primary purpose of the performance evaluations is to:


- Assess individual contributions and achievements over the past half year 2024.
- Identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
- Set goals and develop plans for professional growth and development.
- Ensure alignment with the Position Qualifications and the projects’ objectives.

SELF-EVALUATION GUIDELINES

1. Work Performance

- Goal Achievement: Evaluate your ability to set and achieve work goals. Reflect
on the goals you set at the beginning of the year 2024, whether you met or
exceeded them, and the methods or ways you used to overcome any obstacles.

- Quality of Work: Assess the quality and accuracy of your work. Consider
feedback from supervisors and colleagues, the number of errors or reworks, and
your attention to detail.

- Productivity: Evaluate your efficiency in completing tasks. Consider how well


you managed your workload, adhered to deadlines, and maintained a steady pace
of work.

2. Skills and Knowledge

- Professional Development: Reflect on the new skills and knowledge you have
acquired. Consider any training programs or certifications you completed and
how they have enhanced your job performance.

- Technical Proficiency: Assess your ability to use job-specific tools, software,


and equipment. Consider your competence in these areas and any improvements
you have made over the past year.

- Continuous Learning: Evaluate your commitment to ongoing learning and self-


improvement. Reflect on how you have sought out new learning opportunities
and applied new knowledge to your work.

3. Team Collaboration

- Communication: Evaluate your effectiveness in communicating with team


members, supervisors, managers and other departments.

- Teamwork: Assess your contribution to team projects and collaboration. Reflect


on your ability to work cooperatively, share knowledge, and support your
colleagues.

- Conflict Resolution: Evaluate your ability to manage and resolve conflicts.
Consider how you addressed disagreements or issues within the team and the
outcomes of your conflict resolution efforts.

4. Work Attitude

- Dependability: Assess your reliability and consistency in fulfilling your


responsibilities. Reflect on your attendance, punctuality, and ability to meet
deadlines.

- Initiative: Evaluate your proactive approach to work. Consider how often you
took initiative, proposed new ideas or improvements.

- Adaptability: Reflect on your ability to adapt to changes and new challenges.


Consider how you handled shifts in priorities, new tasks, and changes in the
work environment.

5. Innovation and Improvement

- Process Improvement: Assess your efforts to improve work processes and


efficiency. Consider specific initiatives you undertook to streamline operations
or enhance productivity.

- Self-Reflection: Evaluate your performance and identify areas for improvement.


Consider how you used self-reflection to drive personal growth and professional
development.

Submission Requirements

Please prepare your self-evaluation report based on the above guidelines and submit a
printed, signed copy to the HR department on or before 12 noon June 15 th, 2024.
Ensure your evaluation is thorough, specific, and provides an objective reflection of
your work performance.
