Notes for following my patterns:

1. Work in spirals. Do not join, slip stitch or turn unless otherwise stated in the pattern.
2. Use a stitch marker in the beginning of each round. This will help to mark the first stitch of every round
3. Alternative for stitch marker: You can use different yarn for stitch markers too. Just place it into the first stitch
of every row\round as you go.
4. Alternative for magic ring: Make chain 2. Work 6sc in first chain.
5. Use a smaller hook than recommended for the yarn you have chosen. Make sure you crochet tight enough:
otherwise, the stuffing will show through the holes.

Materials needed:
1. Hooks
The hook number depends on the weight of the yarn. Match your hook with the yarn. I used 2,5 mm hook
(US B/1, UK 13) for 160m (175 yards) yarn in 50g, 1 mm (US steel hook 12, UK 4/2) - for crocheted eyes
2. Yarn for Body
You can use any brands of 100% cotton yarn or mixed cotton with acrylic yarn. I do not recommend you to
use 100% acrylic yarn for any dolls (toys). The thicker yarn you use, the bigger doll you will get.
I recommend to use yarn that has approximately 105-160 m (116-174 yards) in 50 g sken with hook
2,5 mm. Finished size of the doll approx. 28 cm (11 inches)
You can use: Charm Vita cotton, Drops Muskat, Drops Cotton Light, Drops Cotton Merino, King Cole Cottonsoft DK, Patons
100% Cotton DK, Rico Creative Cotton (DK), Rowan Cotton Glace, Schachenmayr Catania, Scheepjes Catona 50g, Sirdar
Cotton DK, Sirdar Snuggly 100% Cotton DK, Wendy Supreme Luxury Cotton DK, Cascade Ultra Pima, DMC yarn brand
3. Yarn for hair: you can use any brand of wool, chunky, fur, boucle yarn for the 1st hair way (page 15). If
you would like to make the second way of hair (see page 19) the yarn should be the same used for body
but different color for taste.
4. Insoles in boots, it can be plastic cards, plastic from cans, shampoos and so on. Any plastic container

Take the long needle and the thread from which
the doll is crocheted), insert the needle in the
starting point 1 (groin), pull it out where the point
2 is, pulling the thread. Insert the needle in the
point 3, pull it out where the point 4 is (groin),
pulling the thread. Fasten, making several knots,
hide the ends into the body and cut off.
Tint the belly button.
HAIR (the 1st way with yarn strands)
Cut strands of yarn (the length of the cut-off thread is on your discretion – what length of the hair you want to
receive). Mark with needles the hair growth line as in pictures below

Attach the thread to the head in the following way (you can use smaller hook for convenience):
1) at the right place, enter the hook and drag it through the loop.
2) grasp the thread in the middle and pull out about a centimeter out
3) grasp both ends of the thread with the hook and pull it into the loop
4) tighten.
First rnd: start fixing along the hair growth from the
bottom AROUND (to the front line) in each loop or
through 1 loop, it depends on the yarn.
Next rounds attach hair through 2-3 rnds and through

2-3 loops, but do not attach hair in the forehead.
Reaching the top attach hair as in picture below, making
2 rows
Add some strands chaotically
HAIR (the 2nd way as a hat)
Hook 2,5; the yarn should be the same as for body. All

skip 1 st, 1 sc in the next st.) x 5, fasten off and cut, leaving a long tail for sewing to the head.
FACE DECORATION
1. Crochet eyes according to the eyes
pattern, using 3 threads and 1 mm
hook.
2. Embroider nose with skin color yarn
between 11 and 12 rnds of the head,
making 4-5 stitches. The length of the
nose is 4 sts.
3. Sew eyes to the head with black color
thread on the top symmetrically and
embroider eyelashes.
4. Embroider lip (the length is 5 sts) btw
8 and 9 rnds of the head with pink
color yarn and eyebrows btw 18 and
19 rnds with brown.
Hide all ends under the eyes and sew the
bottom of the eyes with white color yarn.
Make some color cheeks with pink pencil
or pastel.
