“A Share of R3 Million” Competition

January 2024 – March 2024

1. This competition is open to all residential customers who enter this competition by sending
“Unbox” to 060 060 3788 via WhatsApp.

2. The residential customers, who enter the competition, must make full payment to their DStv
subscription between 08 January 2024 to 31 March 2024 to get one entry into the competition.
This competition is open to all new and existing DStv customers. Customers who join, or are
currently on Rewards, will double their chances and get two entries each.

3. The prize consists of Three Million Rand (R3 000 000,00) worth of prizes to reward customers
from January 2024 to March 2024. Customers who enter the competition stand a chance to win
their share of Three Million Rand from 08 January to 31 March 2024. The winners will be
announced daily via various DStv official platforms.

4. Three Million Rand (R3 000 000,00) worth of Prizes will be awarded in this competition.

5. The competition draw will take place every Wednesday to reward previous week’s winners.
Winners will be selected through a random draw in line with MultiChoice’s competitions
governance processes. There will be 12 draws for this competition as per below:

- Draw 1 will take place on 19 January 2024

- Draw 3 will take place on 24 January 2024
- Draw 4 will take place on 31 January 2024
- Draw 5 will take place on 07 February 2024
- Draw 6 will take place on 14 February 2024
- Draw 7 will take place on 21 February 2024
- Draw 8 will take place on 28 February 2024
- Draw 9 will take place on 06 March 2024
- Draw 10 will take place on 13 March 2024
- Draw 11 will take place on 20 March 2024
- Draw 12 will take place on 27 March 2024
- Draw 13 will take place on 03 April 2024

6. Customers must make payment and reconnect and stay connected to their DStv services
PLUS enter the competition by sending “Unbox” to 060 060 3788 via WhatsApp.

7. These Terms and Conditions are in addition to Terms and Conditions governing subscription to
the MultiChoice Service. The Standard MultiChoice Competition Terms and Conditions still
apply and can be found on dstv.com.

8. Winners will be requested to take part in promotional activities facilitated and managed by
DStv across DStv platforms and other platforms that DStv uses.

9. Cash prizes will be paid to winners directly into their bank accounts. Winners must provide a
copy of their South African Identity Document, proof of banking as well as a signed Prize
Acceptance Letter to receive the prize. This prize will not be given as physical cash nor in the
form of a gift card.
10. Customers must make sure that the cell phone number being used to enter the competition is
the same cell phone number listed on their DStv accounts. All DStv customers are responsible to
ensure that their contact details are correctly updated on their DStv accounts.

11. This competition will be advertised across various DStv owned platforms as well as television,
radio, outdoor advertising and more.

12. This competition is only available to residential subscribers in SA and Lesotho only.
FAQs - DStv Three Million Rand competition

What is the DStv Three Million Rand competition?

This is a competition that will reward DStv customers with a total share of Three Million Rand
(R3 000 000,00) from January 2024 to March 2024. To be eligible for the competition, customers
must reconnect, pay on time or get any DStv package during the campaign period. Once
customers are eligible for the competition, they must enter the competition by sending “Unbox”
to 060 060 3788 via WhatsApp. The prize will be in the form of a cash deposit into the customer’s
bank account or various prizes.

Who can enter the competition?

All customers who make a payment, and have no arrears, for their DStv services between 16
January 2024 – 31 March 2024 will stand a chance to win a share of Three Million Rand
(R3 000 000,00) from January 2024 to March 2024.

How do I enter?

DStv customers who make a full payment for their respective packages must WhatsApp
“Unbox” to 060 060 3788 and they will be part of the daily competition draw. The first
competition draw will take place Friday 19 January. The remaining competition draws will take
place every Wednesday starting on 24 January 2024 until 03 April 2024.

This competition is open to SA (and Lesotho) customers who have the below packages:

- DStv Premium
- DStv Compact Plus
- DStv Compact
- DStv Family
- DStv Access
- DStv EasyView

How long will the competition run?

The competition will run from 16 January 2024 – 31 March 2024.

Who is NOT eligible for the competition?

All customers who do not make full payment for their DStv services between 16 January 2024 – 31
March 2024 will not be eligible for the competition. Customers must be active at the time of each
draw.

How many times can I enter the competition?

Each customer can only enter the competition once. Customers who are DStv Rewards
members, or join DStv Rewards, during the campaign period will double their entry.
What does the prize include?

These are various prizes that will be given to winners on a weekly basis.

How will I know if I’ve won / how will I be notified?

Winners will be notified by our agency partner via SMS & phone call. Winners will also be
announced on various DStv platforms such as Social Media pages and channels.

Why do you need my customer number or SA ID number?

• Your customer number or 13 digital ID number allows us to validate you as a DStv customer
• Note that you can also use your valid passport number if you used it when signing up for
your DStv account.
