Manages, non-Madura brands like Pantaloons, an ethnic business unit. Business Product role,
end to end from aligning business, and design requirements, end up with delivery.
In the case of pantaloon, a business product team exists. other brands this person will manage
everything.
Strong e-comm experience, need someone strong on consumer research, storefront product, what
drives conversion, strong app experience. Ex - Limeroad, zivame, Zepto, Blinkit, Limeroad,
zivame, Zepto, Blinkit, smytten, 1 mg , pharmeasy, bookmyshow, snapdeal, firstcry etc ,
App-centric, storefronts.

General Manager. Leading as a Sr. Product Manager / Lead Product Manager in a large e-comm
setup or Head of Product in a small setup.
Interfacing with Business and Dev teams, interacting with consumers, create UI/ UX,
Create/detail stories, managing execution Strong e-comm frontend exp, can be apparel, food
tech, travel tech etc

Roles & Responsibilities

The Head-Ecom Product will need to build relationships with brand Ecom business teams, take a
buy in from all the required stake holders and then monitor delivery of the aligned roadmap. This
role will also interact with all downstream system owners to align any dependencies with those
systems and get the required changes done in the down systems.
This role will also liaison with external partners that bring about new innovations to the
ecommerce experience. In addition, this role will own the Search & Personalization vendor to
build the right fashion discovery for consumers.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Consumer Insights & Experience improvements


Identify gaps in the user experience basis the web & app analytics, usability studies and track
competitor and complementary brands for the latest in product functionality & user experience
improvements. Convert these into product roadmap requirements. Focus on improving
conversion rates, higher NPS scores and improved retention
2. Stakeholder Management
Liaison with brands, Designers & developers on a daily basis. Act as a SME & go to expert for
the brands in their journey of improving ecommerce experience. Capture requirements from
brands on suggested improvements, deliberate with them and define concepts that improve CX

3. Product Roadmap
Map these areas of opportunities into short term and long term roadmap plans, which are
customer centric & which will improve overall shopping experience and increase the conversion
rate

4. Program Management
Identifying, scheduling, execution, and managing challenging opportunities and projects across
cross functional teams. Manage stakeholders along this journey with updates & reviews

5. Innovation
Liaison with external partners to bring innovative ecommerce experiences such as social
shopping, livestreaming and other partnerships
