Training Description:
This intensive training course aims to provide deep and advanced knowledge needed to cover installation,
operation, maintenance, overhauling and troubleshooting situations for MOL Main Oil Line Flowserve
pumps. Likely participants are all personnel who operate, manage, or are involved in, designing, specifying,
selling, sourcing, installing, servicing and maintaining Flowserve MOL pumping equipment. The course
qualification recognizes the ability to gain and – where relevant – apply a range of advanced knowledge
and understanding on field applications.
This training course includes case studies applied on Flowserve pumps, "hands on" learning, and more are
presented from a practical and realistic point of view.
The Training effect will be measured by executing two interactive Workshops and two exams; Pre-Test and
Post Exam. Any additional subjects can be added through training according to participants requirements.
Training Objectives:
By the end of the training, participants will be able to learn:
✓ Understand and apply basic MOL Flowserve pump principles
✓ Properly maintain MOL Flowserve pumps and pump systems
✓ Know how to operate MOL pump and the function of seals
✓ Identify Pipeline Transportation Pumps
✓ Read and apply MOL Flowserve pump curve charts
✓ Identify and distinguish a “pump” from a “system” problems
✓ Identify, correct and avoid cavitation problems
✓ Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical seal
✓ Know and apply the safety precautions when working with pump installation, operation,
maintenance and troubleshooting
✓ Test pump Performance
Use software to Troubleshoot Flowserve pump faults and study causes and remedies

Training Designed for:

This course is intended for Engineers, Experienced Maintenance Technicians, Operations Supervisors,
pump application engineers working on Main Oil Line Pumping. All personnel who operate, manage, or
are involved in, designing, specifying, selling, sourcing, installing, servicing and maintaining Flowserve MOL
pumping equipment can attend this course.

Training Requirement:
“Hand’s on practical sessions, equipment and software will be applied during the course if required and as
per the client’s request.” (This hands-on, highly-interactive training includes simulator, real-life case studies
and exercises).
This training course is available upon request in English or Arabic, virtual online live or face to face
public/inhouse. Content, location and duration can be adapted to your specific wishes. It is therefore
possible to focus on specific modules of the training course as per client’s learning needs and objectives.

Training Fees:
As per the course location - This rate includes participant’s manual, hand-outs, buffet lunch, coffee/tea on
arrival, morning & afternoon of each day.
Note: The 5% VAT (Value Added Tax), will be effective starting 01st of January 2018 as per the new
