A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ANNUAL BUDGET FOR

THE CALENDAR YEAR 2024 OF BARANGAY CANDABONG, ANDA, BOHOL
AMOUNTING TO THREE HUNDRED NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED
THIRTY-FOUR PESOS AND 30/100 (397,634.30)

WHEREAS, Section 20 of RA No. 10742 otherwise known as the New SK Reform Act of 2015 states
that ten per cent (10%) of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the Sangguniang
Kabataan;

WHEREAS, Section 20 (b) of the same law provides that the SK shall have financial independence in
the operation, disbursements and encashment of their fund, income and expenditures;

WHEREAS, submitted for deliberation of the Sangguniang Kabataan is the proposed budget of the SK
fund for CY 2023 amounting to Php 397,634.30;

WHEREAS, after careful perusal of the proposed budget, this Body found the same consistent with the
provisions of Joint Memorandum Circular No. 01, series of 2020 issued by the Department of Budget
and Management, Department of Interior and Local Government and the National Youth Commission;

WHEREAS, further study of the said proposed budget found the same in accord with the Annual
Barangay Youth Investment Plan for CY 2024 and the three–year Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Development Plan;

WHEREAS, the SK Chairperson with the assistance of the SK Treasurer, has prepared the SK Annual
Budget for CY 2024 amounting to “THREE HUNDRED NINETY-SEVEN THOUSAND SIX
HUNDRED THIRTY-FOUR PESOS AND 30/100 (397,634.30)
” in accordance with the approved ABYIP;

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay

Candabong, Anda, Bohol in session assembled, to approve as it hereby approves the annual budget of
the Sangguniang Kabataan Funds for CY 2024 amounting to Php 397,634.30;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Proposed Budget in its prescribed form shall be an integral part of
this resolution.

APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY this 16th day of March, 2024 upon mass motion of the members
present.
