Role Overview:
As a Backend Engineer in one of our leadership roles, you will be instrumental in
developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers Prozo's advanced
supply chain solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to
understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your
expertise in Java-based backend development, RESTful APIs, and microservices
architecture will be crucial in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of
our applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services to enable seamless
communication between the frontend and backend systems and various
services.
Design and implement data models and database schemas to support
application features
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications for our
supply chain software products
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand business
requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance
and scalability
Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code
Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and security

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Between 3-7 years of experience in Java-based backend development
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and SQL and/or NoSQL
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization
(Docker/Kubernetes)
Familiarity with agile development methodologies, continuous integration,
and continuous deployment
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Work Environment:
This is a full time work-from-office opportunity.
Our company policies do not support moonlighting.
 We have alternate Saturdays off, with the 2nd and 4th Saturdays being non-
working days.
We use HRMS tools like Keka and TimeDoctor to manage employee
productivity, attendance, and performance.
