Warm up activity: Mention some of the vocabulary that you have learnt in this module? What are
some of the topics that you have discussed in this module? What can you remember about them?
Contruction of new knowdege
Students start completing the exercises of the workbook. In exercise 1 they fill in sentences using
the appropriate vocabulary. In exercise 2 they will use different prepositions to fill in sentences.
In exercise 3 are going to choose the correct response about some of the everyday English
expressions. Later in exercise 4 students will fill in some vocabulary learnt in Module 1 and
complete the sentences ex: London is a city rich in history. Students will use different words like
conservative, seek, provide, behaviour, harsh etc. In exercise 5 students will choose the correct
words by practicing different verbs like present perfect, present simple, present continuous etc.
They will also use yet, already, since, for to complete sentences.
In exercise 6 they will again practice verb tenses and complete sentences using the correct verb
tense. Students in ex.7 will choose the correct preposition like after, out, to, in and form the right
phrasal verbs ex: Can you look out /after my cat? After completing the exercises of the Progress
Check students are going to complete also some of the exercises of the activity book.
Presentation and demonstration of the achieved result
To present the achieved results in this lesson students are going to check once more their
progress and tick the things that they learnt in Unit 1 ex: Talk about clothes VV - Very good etc.

I will evaluate students on their participation in the lesson.
