Oil Filler Door (OFD) Loss – Field Feedback

Event: Oil Filler Door Loss with “Generation # 3” Latch

Root cause: Under-Rigged latch (manufacturing quality escape)

leading to intermediate position

Fix:
- Production: Improved latch rigging procedure prior to delivery
(since MSN6512 )
- In-Service: Latch rigging check - VSB V2500-NAC-71-0332
(August 2016)
- Communication to operator: UTAS AOL V2500-16-001
