To beging with, I am going to ask students to look at the vocabulary and try to guess their
meaning and what is the lesson about.
Construction of new knowledge (35 minutes )
First of all, I am going to explain to the vocabulary and what is the relation with the today's
lesson. Then, I am going to explain what students should do in each exercise and ask students to
complete them. Later, I am going to ask students to mention as many words related to education
as possible. In exercise 1 students have to read the sentences and replace the words in bold with
the given words. In exercise 2 students have to read the sentences and choose the correct word in
bold. In exercise 3 students have to read the sentences and fill in the empty spaces with the given
words. Next, in exercise 4 students have to match the verbs to the nouns to make phrases related
to things they do at school. In exercise 5 students have to read the sentences and underline the
correct word. They have to check in their dictionaries and explain the rest of the words.

Presentation and demonstration of the achieved result (5 minutes )

To reflect on the introduction of the new vocabulary students have to complete exercise seven.
Assessment
I will evaluate students on their participation in the lesson. Students will be assessed on their
ability to :
- consolidate vocabulary from a text. (Level 2 )
- practise prepositional phrases. (Level 3 )
- introduce new vocabulary related to education. (Level 4 )
