At the beginning of the lesson, I am going to ask students when was the last time they wrote a report. What was
the purpose of that report?

Contruction of new knowdege


Firstly, I am going to explain what is a report and why do we write it for. Then, I am going to explain what
students should do in each exercises and ask students to complete them. Later, in exercise 1 students have to read
the rubric and answer the questions. In exercise 2 students have to read the model and fill in the blanks (1-5) with
the correct headings (A-E). To continue, in exercise 3 students have to say what each paragraph the writer mention
the suggestions, present the topic the report is about and summarise the suggestions. In exercise 4 students have to
say which of the underlined linkers in the report is used to: list points, make concessions, add emphasis etc.. Next,
in exercise 5 students have to expand the prompts into full sentences. In exercise 6 students have to read the
sentences and fill in the correct linking word/phrase.

Presentation and demonstration of the achieved result


In order to reflect on writing a report studnets have to complete exercise 8.
Assessment
I will evaluate students on their participation in the lesson.
