ALCON Nigeria Limited, a distinguished member of the esteemed Avent Group, is a leading
contender in contracting services. Our company has been entrusted with significant responsibilities,
currently a principal contractor on two of the seven critical gas projects initiated by the Ministry of
Petroleum and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). These endeavours are of
paramount importance as they seek to address the escalating gas demand in Nigeria and contribute to
the development of one of the nation's largest greenfield gas condensate projects.

The primary objective of these projects is to foster the development of 4.3 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of
gas and 197 million barrels (MMstb) of condensate. By accomplishing this feat, we aim to bolster
Nigeria's domestic gas production, resulting in enhanced power generation capabilities and the
advancement of gas-based industries. This integrated approach is designed to promote the utilization
of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as a cleaner and more sustainable alternative to traditional fuels like
firewood, charcoal, and kerosene. Furthermore, the successful implementation of these projects is
projected to yield approximately 25,000 barrels per day (b/d) of valuable condensate.

The two Projects are:

1. Assa North/Ohaji South Project, led by the Shell Petroleum Development Company of
Nigeria (SPDC). With a contract value of FUSD 14.7m ALCON assumes the role of an
experienced Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor. Our scope of
work encompasses the crucial aspects of EPC Site Preparation and I.A. Infrastructure, which
involves meticulous site preparation for the entire project, including the Plant Site, Field
Logistics Base Industrial Area (FLB-IA), and Field Logistics Base Residential Area (FLB-
RA).

2. ANOH GAS PROCESSING MEIC (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and

Commissioning) Project. ALCON was awarded this MEIC Project, a groundbreaking venture
aimed at revolutionizing the gas processing industry, boost energy efficiency, and promote
sustainable development in Nigeria at a value of FUSD89m. The Scope of Work included:

i. Shipping, Customs Clearance and Logistics: ALCON handled the intricate task of
shipping and customs clearance of 12,000 cubic meters of equipment required for the
ANOH GAS PROCESSING MEIC Project. Coordinating the seamless transportation
and delivery to Site of materials from PCSNL/BH (Italy, India, Thailand), GPS
(UAE, India, China, Greece, US, SA), GPS/Montego/Nivafer (Lagos and PH).
ii. Provision of Temporary Site Facilities Mobilization.
iii. Procurement essential components and materials for the ANOH GAS PROCESSING
MEIC Project. (Valves, telecom equipment, field instruments, deluge skids, cables,
GRE pipes, structural steel, piping, flowline materials, electrical bulks, cathodic
protection, insulation, paint, telecom masts, to civil pole foundations)
iv. Installation, Construction and integration of key project components such as project
modules and rotating equipment, eight 1,500 bbl LPG bullets, condensate tanks
(38.15m D x 15.85 m H), a PW tank (26.12m D x 17.06m interconnecting piping and
valves, as well as interconnecting electrical cables and bulks.

v. Instrumentation and Telecoms and finally Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning

Support. This support brings the ANOH GAS PROCESSING MEIC Project to
fruition, while ensuring a seamless transition from construction to operation,
conducting thorough testing, system integration, and verification, while adhering to
the highest safety standards.
