◦ 현장조사
630편이 인천국제공항 도착 시에 부상승객 현황과 항공기 손상 상태 확인,
비행관련 자료 조사, 운항․객실승무원 및 관계자에 대한 진술조사를 실시하였다.
◦ 분석
사고의 진행과정, 승무원들의 임무수행 및 비행 중 발생한 관련 요소들에 초점을
두고 분석하였다.
◦ 결과
630편은 순항고도에서 갑작스럽게 청천난기류와 조우하여 승객들이 좌석벨트를
착용할 수 있는 시간 여유가 없는 상황에서 많은 부상자가 발생하였다.
◦ 안전권고
- 사실조사 중 항공안전본부에 국적항공기 비상 의료함의 긴급 안전점검 1건을 권고
하여, 점검 결과 모두 정상 작동된다는 조치결과를 받았다.
- 사실조사와 분석에 의거하여 대한항공에 대하여 1건의 안전권고를 하였다.

1.9 통신(Communications)
FDR 자료에 의하면 630편 항공기는 04:37 경(현지시간 03:37 경)에 순항고도인
38,000피트에 도달하였고, 18분 후인 04:55 경부터 가벼운 기체동요가 발생하다가
04:55:52∼04:55:53(1초간) 사이에 수직중력치(Vertical Acceleration)가 +1.15에서
-0.45로 순간적인 변화를 나타내었다. 04:55 경 수직중력치의 최대치는 04:55:55에
+1.39였고, 최소치는 04:55:53에 -0.45였다.
