Chapter 3
PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter elaborates the presentation, the analysis, and the interpretation of
data gathered from the respondents. The discussion of the problems is presented as
follows:
Problem 1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents?
Table 1. Profile of the Respondents in terms of age, sex, grade and section.
Profile Variables n (f=47) %
Age
16 0 0%
17 18 38.30%
18 29 61.70%
19 0 0%

Male 15 31.91%
Female 32 68.09%
Grade and Section
12 - Henry Sy 19 40.43%
12 - Washington Sycip 28 59.57%

Table 1 shows that there are 47 respondents. In terms of age, 18 out of 47

respondents ages 17 years old with a percentage of 38.30%, followed by the respondents
ages 18 years old where 29 out of 47 respondents with a percentage of 61.70%.
Moreover, in terms of sex, majority of the respondents are female which counts 32
out of 47 respondents with a percentage of 68.09%, while the male respondents count 15
out of 47 with a percentage of 31.91%.

In terms of grade and section, majority of the respondents are from 12- Washington
Sycip which counts 28 out of 47 respondents with a percentage of 59.57% while the 19
out of 47 respondents are from 12 – Henry Sy with a percentage of 40.43%.
Problem 2. To what extent do the respondents perceive their business readiness
in terms of; Entrepreneurial Knowledge and Skills
Table 2. Entrepreneurial Knowledge and Skills
Indicators Mean SD Verbal
Interpretation
Entrepreneurial Knowledge and Skills
1. I communicate well with the staffs in the 3.106 0.660 Sometimes
business.
2. I listen to every suggestion and 3.681 0.587 Always

3. I account the flow of every transaction. 3.234 0.659 Sometimes
4. I manage my time effectively and 3.319 0.656 Always
efficiently.
5. I integrate various business strategies 3.234 0.691 Sometimes
fitting to the situation.
Overall Mean 3.315 0.034 Always

Table 2 describes the Entrepreneurial Knowledge and Skills of the students.

Indicator 2 got the highest mean of M = 3.681 with a standard deviation of 0.587 and it is
described as Always which means that the respondents always listen to every suggestion
and correction as this is one of the ways to improve a business to make it more
established. According to Perucchetti (2017), effective leadership and decision-making
require the ability to seek and give counsel. Managers, on the other hand, rarely see them
as talents that can be learned and improved. Receiving advice is frequently viewed as a

form of passive wisdom consumption. And, more often than not, advising is viewed as a
question of "good judgment"—you either have it or you don't—rather than a skill that can
be learned. While the indicator 1 got the lowest mean of M= 3.106 with a standard
deviation of 0.660 and it is described as Sometimes. This implies that the respondents
sometimes communicate well with the staffs in the business. It contradicts to the article
of Hastwell (2020), where it stresses that employee communication that is effectively
helps to guarantee that management and staff are on the same page. When you
communicate effectively, you create an environment where employees feel valued and
motivated to contribute to a common goal. Employees are happier, more productive,
engaged, and willing to contribute to the company's success as a result of this.
