TRAFFIC ORDER NO: 85/2024

BERMUDA BICYCLE ASSOCIATION CRITERIUM ROAD RACE

SUNDAY, JULY 14th, 2024

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the Bermuda -Bicycle Association
Criterium Road Race will occur on Sunday, July 14th, 2024, between 8:00 am and 10:30 am. The
following roads will be affected:

RACE ROUTE: The bicycle race commences and concludes on Stocks Road near the Southside
Police Station. The participants proceed North on Stocks Road and turn left onto
Southside Road. They continue on Southside Road, turn left onto Waller's Point
Road, and make another left onto Stocks Road, where they head to the finish
line.

TRAFFIC CONTROL: The bicycle race will commence on Sunday, July 14th, 2024,° at 8:00 am and is
expected to conclude by 10:30 am. All motorists are expected to use caution and
to avoid collisions with race participants. The race route will be under the control
of Police Officers and Race Marshals. Motorists must follow the instructions
from the Police Officers and Race Marshals to assist with traffic control for this
event.

ROAD CLOSURES: There will be no roads closed to traffic while the bicycle race takes place.

The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and
apologises for any inconvenience that may result. Should there be any questions regarding this event,
please direct queries to the attention of the race representative, Jennifer Lightbourne, at 599-2993.

In addition, the Bermuda police are hereby authorised to "Close off" streets or portions of streets
and authorise parking as the Commissioner of Police decides.
