Supplies
The size of a ready doll, including the hat is 11,81 inches tall, if you use
supplies mentioned below.
1) yarn:

1 doll's variant: red, brown, white, beige, green, yellow:


- YarnArt Jeans (50g/150m), 55% cotton, 45% acryl,color 73 (peach) - for
the body, color 52 (green) - for the stockings, overall and hat, color 51 (red)
- for boots, sweater, hat, color 40 (brown) - for shoelaces and shoe sole;
- Alize Cotton Gold ( 100g/ 330m), 55% cotton, 45% acryl, color 55 (white)
- for stockings, color 83 (yellow) - for the present;
- Nako Paris ( 100g/ 245m), 60% polyamid, 40% acryl, color 5520 - for
hair;

2 doll's variant: yellow, green, white, beige, blue, brown:


- YarnArt Jeans, 50g/ 160m, 55% cotton, 45% acryl, color 73 (peach) - for
the body, color 51 (red) - for the present, color 40 (brown) - for shoe laces
and shoe sole;
- Alize Cotton Gold, 100g/330 m, 55% cotton, 45% acryl, color 55 (white) -
for stockings, color 83 (yellow) - for boots, sweater and hat;
- Alpina Vera, 100g/ 280m, 55% cotton, 45% acryl, color 41 (green) - for
the stockings, overall and hat;
- Alize Softy, 50g/ 115m, 100% micropolyester, color 55 (white) - for
binding off, collar and pompon;
- Nako Paris, 100g/ 245m, 60% polyamid, 40% acryl, color 11237 - for
hair;

You can use any yarn of the same characteristics.

2) hook, suitable for the chosen yarn, I've used Tulip 1,75;

3) moulinet thread of black and brown colors, some piece of yarn Alize
Cotton Gold, color 55 (white) - for face embroidering;

4) eyes 10/12mm and some strong glue, if you are going to glue the eyes;

5) oil pastel of dark-brown or peach/pink colors (you can use blusher


instead), a brush for the tint;

6) some alluminium wire of 2mm thick (2 pieces of about 12,6 inches long)
and 1/1,5mm (1 piece of about 8,66 inches long).
If you are going to make the doll without any sceleton, you should use
barbecue skewer or any other sceleton for the neck.

7) adhesive plaster;

8) a piece of plastic or cardboard of 3,94x3,94 inches;

9) the pliers, scissors and pins;

10) a needle for pieces attaching and a long one for the contraction;

11) 2 buttons of 10 mm dia for the overall;

12) fiberfill.

Arms

Beige color.
2 pieces.
DON'T fill with fiber.
1 row: 5sc in MR
2 row: 5inc (10)

6-7 row (2 rows): 8sc
Change color into yellow one.
If you want to bind off the sleeve, do
the following:
8 row: BLO 8sc

If you DON'T bind off the sleeve, change color into yellow one after the
7th row and make an additional row with 8 sl st (work loose), and the lext
row is made with BLO of stitches of previous row, and you'll have an
exact color changing.

9-14 row (6 rows): 8sc
15 row: 1 inc in each side of the arm. There are 2 inc in the row (10)
16-23 row (8 rows): 10 sc
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread inside.

Sleeve binding off.

Place the hand with the palm up and attach fluffy yarn of white color
to FLO of the 7th row, 8sc.
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread.

Legs
Brown color.
2 pieces.
Don't fill with fiber.
7ch,turn the work, from the 2nd ch.

How to make an oval


Change color into yellow one, but don't
cut brown thread.

Dec in next 3 rows must be exacty in
the center, if it's necessary make
required number of shifting sc.

Insert a sole.
Cut an oval sole from a plastic or
cardboard by the length of the foot (in
my case, the oval is of 1,18 inches long
and 0,79 inches wide).
Insert and glue it inside. I recommend
to cut the 2nd sole at once to have it of
the same size as the 1st one.

Insert wire sceleton.


Take a piece of alluminium wire of 2 mm thick and 12,6 inches long, bend
it in spiral and wrap this part with adhesive plaster, bend in the foot.
Insert wire insode the leg with wrapped part down. Fill the leg with fiber
with the help of skewer or sushi stick.
Then fill the leg with fiber in the process.

Change color into white one, cut yellow thread.
16 row: 17sc
Change color into green one, DON'T cut white one.
17 row: 17sc

Fix thread of one leg, cut and hide its tail thread inside. Don't cut thread of
the 2nd leg, but work 8 shifting sc.

Bind off the boot.
Tongue.
Find out exactly in the center of the boot 4 loops of the 9th row.
Place the leg with boot up, attach thread of yellow color in the 1st loop of 4
and do the following:
1-5 row (5 rows): 4sc, 1ch, turn the work.
Fix thread, cut and hide tail thread.
Side part.
Find out exactly in the center of the boot 2 loops of the 8th row.
Place the leg with boot up, attach thread of yellow color to the next stitch
and do the following:
1-7 row (7 rows): 15sc, 1ch, turn the work.

Bind off the sole.
Place the leg with boot up, attach thread of brown color to the loop of the
3rd row and work 26sc.
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread.
Bind off the stocking.
Place the leg with boot up, attach fluffy thread of white color to the loop
of the 21st row and work 17sc.
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread.

Body

Continue to work. Fill the body with fiber in the process.


Place the legs to have the toes facing exactly straight.
4ch, sl st in sc of the 2nd leg.
Twist wires of both legs to each other, as it's shown in the photo.
39 row: 42sc (work along the 1st leg, then along the chain, then along
the 2nd leg and then again along the chain)
Place the marker exactly in the back of the body.
40-47 row (8 rows): 42sc
Make required number of shifting sc to have the marker aside the body.
Fix thread of beige color, cut and hide tail thread.

Skirt.
Green color.
54ch, round the work,working sl st in the 1st ch.
Then work round without any sl st or ch. If you want to have a striped
skirt, work all rows BLO.
1-6 row (6 rows): 54sc
7 row: (7sc-1dec)*6 (48)
8 row: 48sc

If you want, you can bind off the edge of the skirt with sc from fluffy
yarn of white color.
Attach the skirt to the body aside in the place, where you've finished
work in the 47th row.

Bind off the collar.


Attach fluffy thread of white color to the loops of the 63 row and work
around 18 dc. If you make the collar from half cotton or cotton thread, I
reccomend you to work 2 rows with 18 dc and fold the collar.

Find out the central loop in the back, attach thread of green color.
30 ch, 1 sl st in the 8th stitch and then 22 sl st.
30 ch again, 1 sl st in the 8th stitch and 22 sl st.
Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread.

Attach buttons to the end of both straps and turn on the straps.
Embroider line with backstitch with thread of yellow color in 1 thread.

Beige color.
Fill with fiber in the process.

Push the lower part of the head inside the head with the help of sushi
stick. Make sure, the head is filled with fiber tightly, but it can easily be
put on the neck.
Attach the head to the body.

Firstly decorate the face and then fix it to the body.

Ears and decoration

Ears.
Main color.
2 pieces.
1 row: 6sc in MR
Fix and cut thread, leave a long tail thread for attaching.
Attach ears between 16 and 18 rows.

Decoration.
Pin hair line (see the photos of next page).
Make eye contraction.
Insert/glue/sew eyes between 15 and 17 rows in the distance of 6sc, if you
haven't done it before.
Embroider the whites of the eye with yarn of white color, you can add a
colored line next to the eye. Embroider eyelashes with moulinet thread of
black color. If you make fringe, you can not embroider eyebrows.
Embroider nose with thread of beige color (along the lower part of the
eyes, 3/3,5sc wide). Embroider the mouth with moulinet thread of brown
color (1 thread) (2 sc down the nose, 3/3,5 sc wide).
Tint the cheecks and nose with oil pastel or blusher of pink color.
Tint the eyelids with oil pastel of dark-brown color.

Hair

Embroider the fringe.


Pin the place of the fringe embroidering.
I recommend to pin hair line in both sides at once.
The length of the fringe is until 13 -14 row.
Embroider the fringe in 2 rows: make stitches between sc in the 1st row
and then make 1 row of stitches between stitches of the 1st row. The
width of the fringe from one side of the face to the other one is 22-24 sc.

Hair attachment.
Cut thread for hair of about 15,75 inch. Attach hair to the head as it's
shown in the video below.
There are 2 hair attachment technique in the pattern. You can choose the
best technique for you.
Lengthening technique
Fringe attaching technique

Attach hair from the back in the top of the fringe with horisontal rows
down in each stitch until the ear line.
Then attach some strands of hair along hair line from the side to the ears
(the places are depicted with pins in the photo of previous page).

Then I recommend to attach hair in the back of the head, using


stretching technique.
The width and number of rows of stretchings are done up to you. It
depends on the thickness of your yarn and hair volume. I usually make 2
rows of stretching and 6 rows wide from smooth yarn, and 1 row and 10-
12 rows wide from fluffy yarn.
Attach hair to the empty row after stretching, using one of the
mentioned above technique. Cut hair.

Shift the marker in 1 sc to have it exactly in one side of the piece.

Fix and cut thread, hide tail thread.

Wrap a present with a bow with a thread of yellow color.
