1. The provisional result(Revised) of Competitive (Preliminary) Exam

conducted by the Gujarat Public Service Commission on 15.10.2023 for the
Advt. No. 42/2023-24, Deputy Section Officer, Class-3 was declared on
Dt.08.07.2024.

2. In the para no. 2 (6) of the Provisional Result(Revised) dated 08.07.2024, the
Result of the petitioners of the SCA no. 5421/2024 and other 98 petitions was
kept in the sealed cover.

3. Now considering the direction of Hon’ble High Court order dated 02.07.2024,
the following 83 petitioner candidates who obtained more than or equivalent
to the cut off marks mentioned in the qualified list of dated 08.07.2024 are
herewith declared to be qualified for main written exam and included in the
qualified list of dated 08.07.2024 for the Advt. No. 42/2023-24.

5. As per the directions of the Hon’ble High Court dated 02.07.2024 in SCA-5421-
2024 and other petitions, the petitioners in the present petitions, who are not
qualified as above, are also allowed to submit their online forms for the main
examination and also permitted to appear in the main examination.

6. Moreover, as per the above directions of Hon’ble High court, the result of the
petitioners, who have appeared in the main exam, shall be kept in a sealed
cover, which shall be submitted before Hon’ble High Court and their results
shall be subjected to further orders to be passed by the Hon’ble High Court.

7. With additional above 83 candidates, now total no. of qualified candidates are
5269. Other details of the provisional result(Revised) declared on
Dt.08.07.2024 for the Advt. No. 42/2023-24 remains as it is.
