Notes
1. Safety eyes can be found on Etsy, Amazon, eBay, or your local craft store. They can be
substituted with embroidered eyes if you prefer.
2. This pattern is crocheted in continuous rounds (you will not join each round).
3. In my patterns, I begin each circle with “ch 2, 6 sc in first ch.” Another way of beginning is to start
with a magic circle. If you are more familiar with this method, just do 6 sc into your magic circle.
Instructions
Head
With gray yarn,
Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in first ch. (6 sts)
R2: (Sc 2, inc), 2 times. (8 sts)
R3: (Sc 3, inc), 2 times. (10 sts)
R4: Sc 4, inc, inc, sc 4. (12 sts)
R5: Sc 4, inc, sc 2, inc, sc 4. (14 sts)
R6: Sc 6, inc, inc, sc 6. (16 sts)
R7: Sc 4, inc, sc 1, inc, sc 1, inc, sc 1, inc, sc 5. (20 sts)

R10: (Sc 4, inc), 6 times. (36 sts)
R11: (Sc 17, inc), 2 times. (38 sts)
Next, insert the safety eyes into the mouse’s head between
R8 and R9, about 10 sts apart across the top. When you have
double-checked to make sure they are inserted into the same Figure 1: Nose
round and are equal distance from the nose, firmly press the
backs onto the eyes. Now, go on to finish the head... A B
Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for closing and sewing. Finish
stuffing the head. Use the yarn tail to weave through the
front loops of the 6 sts (Figure 2-A & B) and pull tight to close
the hole (Figure 2-C). Secure with a knot and weave in the end
(Figure 2-D).
Your mouse’s head will now look as pictured to the (Figure 3).
Ears (make 2)

Fasten off, leaving a yarn tail for sewing. Pinch the very

place to form a crease at the bottom of the ear (Figure 4).
Now position the ears on either side of the head about 5
