be made these days, there is litterally no escaping if you have a bully with perseverance. In addition you’re probably active on
multiple platforms of social media, where you can be attacked on. If you are in this situation, the only option is usually deleting
all your accounts.

Teenagers are one of greatest victims of bullying and thus also of cyberbullying, because they are old enough to work with the
internet, but commonly don’t understand the dangers of it. Kids and teenagers also often fall prey to phishing and hackers, but
this is a different issue. Being hacked has fysical consequences, like losing money or getting your computer demolished.
Cyberbullying is purely emotional, they could make you depressed after a long cycle of hate. They could contact your friends
and associates and tell them horrible things about you, they could even get you kicked out of your school. It can ruin
friendships and careers. Another way to bully people is setting up a website with the sole purpose of humiliating people.
Sometimes people even make fake accounts of the person they are bullying and post embarrasing details. Acquiring
embarrasing information is called ‘doxing’. Last but not least, bullies could also threaten their victim by posting nudes.

Causes and consequences of cyberbullying
Cyberbullying is usually caused by disputes, they are
thus commonly caused by love or by an
ex-boyfriend/girlfriend. They could very easily take
revenge by using the previous methods of cyberbullying,
as a result the internet becomes a very unsafe place. The
effects on the victims can be detrimental, the victim can
feel lonely, isolated. The victim might get stress and
anxiety, poor concentration and self-esteem and can in
extreme cases even lead to suicide. And the average
teenager is the most vulnerable to such things.
Conclusion: Teenager need to be kept safe from
internet bullying
Studies show that 1 in 10 young people that are being
cyberbullied, inform their parents. This number is
dangerously low, especially if you know the
consequences of bullying. Kids commonly don’t inform
their parents because they are embarrased or they think
the issue might get worse. But this is not the case, if you
are being bullied you should inform others, otherwise
the problem will never get solved. Cyberbullying is a real
danger that could happen to anybody, Always use the
internet with caution, because there are people out
there that don’t have the best intentions with you.
