HOLA, BUEN TRABAJO A PESAR DE QUE HAY UN PROBLEMA IMPORTANTE CON LA

HIPÓTESIS. EL TRABAJO ES UN POCO REPETITIVO PERO HAY REFLEXIÓN PROPIA
QUE FUE LO EXIGIDO.
HAY ALGUNOS ERRORES IMPORTANTES. LEAN MIS OBSERVACIONES.

Topic: Ecuador's strategies to combat organized crime and drug trafficking

Hypothesis: In Ecuador, daily homicides were reduced from 40 to 12, AL DÍA, A LA

SEMANA??? ESTO DEBE PRECISARSE, YO NO LO PUEDO ADIVINAR!!!!
therefore, the exception regime and the internal armed conflict are effective, as they
contribute to the dismantling of criminal organizations, as in the case of El Salvador,
where it was possible to dismantle gang networks and regain control of areas
dominated by organized crime.

YO DIRÍA QUE LO QUE MARQUÉ EN AZUL ES LA HIPÓTESIS Y LO DEMÁS,

QUE SON CIFRAS DEBE IR EN CONTENIDO, PERO NO EN HIPÓTESIS!!!!

OJO!! LA HIPÓTESIS NO MENCIONA DRUG TRAFFIKING, SOLO HOMICIDIOS

QUE ADEMÁS, ES UN TIPO (EL PEOR) DE CRIMEN, PERO UDS EN TEMA
AFIRMAN QUE ESCRIBIRÍAN SOBRE CRIME. POR OTRO LADO, EN EL TEMA
NO HACEN REFERENCIAL A EL SALVADOR, Y LA PREGUNTA ES SI ES UN
TRABAJO COMPARATIVO O SOLO SOBRE ECUADOR, PORQUE SI ES EL
ÚLTIMO CASO, POR QUÉ PONEN EN LA HIPÓTESIS LA COMPARACIÓN CON
EL SALVADOR??? LA HIPÓTESIS ESTÁ BIEN ELABORADA PERO ES ALGO
CONFUSA!!!!

Arguments:

1. Establishing the regime of exception in Ecuador and the internal armed conflict

are measures that help combat criminality in the country. SINCE WHEN??? While

many experts’ question PRESIDENT NAME- Noboa's intentions, arguing that the

Ecuadorian president is seeking to implement measures similar to Bukele's and that

it is not the right thing to do. EXPLIQUEN QUÉ ARGUMENTAN ESTOS

¨EXPERTOS¨, POR EJEMPLO CITEN A UNO SOLO!!!!!But El Salvador used to be

the country with the most MORE homicides IN LATIN AMERICA and now it has

been reduced to a minimum. Moreover, Bukele has an approval rating of more than

90%. How can we say that these WHICH?? EJEMPLOS DE MEDIDAS?? are

extremely negative measures when the country is behind him?

It is also very important that the government CUÁL, ECUADOR O EL SALVADOR??

CONFUSO invests in education. Most of the young people who make up the criminal

gangs in Ecuador do not study or work. But of course, the security situation got out

of control when the leader of the gang "Los Choneros", the criminal Adolfo Macias,

alias "Fito", escaped from prison. WHEN? ES ESTE UN GANG ECUATORIANO?

MEXICANO? DE DONDE? MARAS? NARCOS’?? EXPLIQUEN!!!!!Homicides

increased and criminal gangs practically declared war on the government. So, what

measures can the government take? That is why I UDS SON CUATRO EN EL

GRUPO. QUIÉN ES ¨I¨??????? emphasize that yes, of course the fight against drug

trafficking and criminality does begin with the regime of exception and the internal

armed conflict, SI DICEN QUE COMIENZA CON EL REGIMEN DE EXCEPCIÓN Y

UN CONFLICTO ARMADO VS QUIÉN, Y DE PARTE DE QUIÉN?? Y CÓMO

DEFINEN ¨CONFLICTO ARMADO INTERNO¨??? PERO SI DICEN ESO, CÓMO

TERMINA, ENTONCES, LA LUCHA CONTRA DRUG TRAFFICKING AND

CRIME??????? because there is no other way to win against crime if it is not

confronted. ESTA PARTE ES CONFUSA!!!!

2. Likewise, another argument that we can place in favour of our hypothesis is that

by making the comparison with El Salvador, a country that has used the same

regime to order and reestablish the country,?? THE SAME REGIME TO ORDER?

NO ES EXACTAMENTE ASÍ, HAY DIFERENCIAS!!!! we can somehow deduce what

will happen with Ecuador. El Salvador was a country characterized by high poverty

and crime rates. As a result, El Salvador was rated as one of the countries with the

highest homicide rate in the world, such was the seriousness that, for example, in

2015 there were 103 homicides per 100, 000 habitants. However, after the

implementation of the exception regime, El Salvador is a country that has

significantly improved its appearance thanks to Nayib Bukele and all the authorities

who have worked for the improvement of its territory. For example, if we also talk

about homicides, this rate has dropped to 2.4 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, which

is currently the lowest figure in Latin America. SU TRABAJO ES SOBRE

ECUADOR, NO DEBEN DEDICAR TANTO A EL SALVADOR. MÍNIMA

REFERENCIA!!!!

Thus, using this country as a prototype, Ecuador would be expected to have the

same results. NO TODO LO QUE RESULTA EN UN PAÍS RESULTA EN OTRO!!!!!

Ecuador has currently decided to have the armed forces and the police work

together to fight crime, as this seems to be what works best in terms of results. It

seems that the population feels more fearful when the government decides to take

the armed forces out to guard the streets. Also, Daniel Noboa has placed greater

emphasis on cities with higher crime rates and public insecurity, such as Guayaquil,

Portoviejo, and Machala. On the other hand, since this regime is in force, it is

allowed to violate certain rights of the population to achieve the expected results

faster. In fact, many officials are already talking about the results that Ecuador is

having, such as the drop in homicides.

3. Another argument that reinforces the hypothesis is the positive impact of the

emergency regime and the internal armed conflict ESTO LO TIENEN QUE

DEFINIR??? on the perception of security and trust in public institutions. In Ecuador,

one of the greatest concerns of citizens is insecurity, which affects both quality of life

and economic activity. According to the National Institute of Statistics and Census

(INEC), in 2023, 65% of Ecuadorians considered insecurity to be the country's main

problem. With the implementation of stricter measures, such as the regime of

exception and the participation of the armed forces in security tasks, a significant

reduction in crime rates has been achieved, which is supported by official statistics

indicating a decrease in daily homicides from 40 to 12. ESTADÍSTICAS DE QUÉ

FUENTE Y QUE FECHA???

A study conducted by the Universidad de las Americas (UDLA) in Quito

FECHA???? revealed that after the implementation of these measures, 70% of those

surveyed said they felt safer in their community, and 55% expressed greater

confidence in the state security forces. This perception of security is crucial not only

for the well-being of the population, but also for economic development, as it fosters

a more stable environment for investment and tourism. In this sense, Ecuador's

strategy is similar to that of El Salvador, where the perception of security improved

significantly and attracted foreign investment. EXACTAMENTE LA MISMA

ESTRATEGIA??? SEGURO??? LA DE PRISIONEROS TAMBIÉN???

In addition, the experience of countries that have successfully implemented

exception regimes EJEMPLOS ADEMÁS DE EL SALVADOR???? demonstrates

that collaboration between different government agencies and security forces is

essential to dismantle complex criminal networks. In Ecuador, coordination between

the national police, the armed forces and other institutions has led to the capture of

criminal leaders and the seizure of large quantities of drugs and weapons,

significantly weakening criminal organizations. ALGO REPETITIVO

4. Finally, one of the arguments that allows REAFFIRM OUR the hypothesis to

continue in favour is that the support that Ecuadorian President Noboa received can

be compared to that of Salvadoran President Bukele. As the Ecuadorian regime

continues to follow governments like in El Salvador, with the possibility of emulating

the country's crime reduction success, it makes it easier for Noboa to have more

popular support and continue his goal of ending crime. OK, PERO ESTO NO ESTÁ

VINCULADO AL ÉXITO DE SU POLÍTICA, ESTO PUEDE SER UN TEMA DE

PERCEPCIÓN!!!!With popular support, it would allow other triggers of the conflict,

such as the lack of education, that Noboa can get involved and try to solve a crisis

that has been going on for a decade. Likewise, in comparison to Noboa's

predecessor governments, there is a greater effectiveness on the part of the new

government to reduce criminality and to try to ensure that it continues to receive the

popular support it has so far.

General conclusion:

The arguments presented above have validated the hypothesis. Given that the

measures implemented by the Ecuadorian government to combat crime and drug

trafficking are effective. ??? SUJETO ECUATORIANSThey have had progress with

respect to the results, where daily homicides have decreased. In addition, it is

compared with the country of El Salvador, which has developed a policy similar to

the one that Noboa's government seeks to carry out, and in the Salvadoran country it

has given results, reducing crimes significantly. The fight against organized crime

and drug trafficking is a frontal fight, otherwise it has not yielded results.
