Dear Parents and Carers,

I am pleased to inform you that children are well settled and have all reported. Please be reminded
that children should not be sent to school when they are not feeling well, I must emphasise that the
sick bay is only for Emergencies.

Book Week 30th May-4th June

Please do look out for the planned activities for this week.

Thursday 2nd June

1. Pyjama Day – Children should come to school in their pyjamas and favourite bedtime story
books. They will be charged K10 which will go to book repairing and covering activities.

Friday 3rd June

1. Reading Buddy Day: KS2-EYFS children to pair up with peer, read a book and model
good reading. With social distancing, cohorts can do peer reading.

2. Parents donate a cake day- please do kindly send through the cakes by Friday if you have
pledged to donate a cake. The school is appealing to parents who may volunteer to help
with the selling of cakes during the book fair.

Saturday 4th June Book Fair. Saturday is the grand finale. Remember to come dressed as your
favourite book character. The event starts at 10:00hrs. Please invite all the members of the family
to come and enjoy a fun filled day.

Roadworks

Please do note that the main entrance into the school is closed off. An alternative route for those
coming from town and requiring access into the school will have to use the West-end gate (Where
the wire for Kabitaka starts) Traffic marshals will be there at the turning point to direct you, please
do listen to them.
